If you've gone to college, you would have a major/minor (the subject/s that you focused on getting a degree for) and degree (Like an AA, or a BA, the thing you get when you graduate) or a diploma (the "degree" your get for graduating high school).

When you are in college here you have a 'major' which is the primary subject you are studying. Your 'minor' is a secondary, complimentary subject. For example your major may be Business and your minor Accounting. Under degree/diploma you would write the year you finished that course and what degree (papers that prove you finished the course and at which degree of competency-Associates=an average of about 2 years, Bachelors= about 4 years, Masters usually 6 years and more) you received.

Degree would be "Bachelor of Science", "Master of Arts" written BA or MS for example.

Major would be the concentration of courses or field of study such as Economics or Computer Science. Some student have a second, lesser concentration is some other field or department. This is a minor, if recognized by the university. So you might have BA Economics minor History

A minor or major is classified as to what you went to college for. So if you didn't go to collge put N/A which means not applicable. Your major is the main focus of your collegiate studies and the minor is the smaller portion. And diploma just refers to if you got your highschool diploma or not

The minor/major stands for courses in a university.
The degree/diploma stands for if you graduated.
If you graduated from a High School you can put the name of the school and the year you graduated. If you didn't, then put N/A.
I went to a scrapbooking seminar once and got a certificate, so then I would put as my diploma:
Senior Salesman of Scrapbook Supplies, 2006

When you go to college, you major in a particular subject, that means that's your "specialty". The minor is your second choice specialty. The degree/diploma is the subject the degree you earned was in.

ok for minor/major they're asking what subject you took in college for your minor or major some people take more than one thing. an example would be journalism (whichever class was the main one you chose to take) for degree/diploma they probably want to know what degree you reciever bachlors ect. and what you got your diploma in. hope this helps :)

They want to know if you are currently seeking a degree, or if you have one, what type, AA, BA, Masters..... what your major was, (probably if it is relevant to the job) and minor. Or if you just have a high school diploma. They want to know what your formal education training is.

When you apply and go to college you do so with a certain career in mind. Most people will only choose one.....the first choice and the one that you take the most classes for is usually your major; if you choose to also study another field but do not choose as many classes or are not as interested in this field is usually the minor.

For Minor/Major it is asking what your focus was in college, ex.) engineering

For Degree/Diploma it is asking if you are certified in the field in which you studied.
