With all those features they should have just marketed it as a gaming computer. Instead you are paying for the "free" online gaming in a different way. Have it come with Linux installed and everyone would be happy.

no because PS3 also:
plays ps2/3 games
internet browser
chat with frends
watch media from the HD
download and play PS1 games
play DVDs
remote play to PSP
fold@home
and so on
you generally get much more with a PS3
