Some saintly individuals left simple footsteps but large ideas.
St. Francis left this prayer. ( It has been put to music and it just makes uncommon common sense.)

Lord, make me a channel of thy peace,
that where there is hatred, I may bring love;
that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness;
that where there is discord, I may bring harmony;
that where there is error, I may bring truth;
that where there is doubt, I may bring faith;
that where there is despair, I may bring hope;
that where there are shadows, I may bring light;
that where there is sadness, I may bring joy.
Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted;
to understand, than to be understood;
to love, than to be loved.
For it is by self-forgetting that one finds.
It is by forgiving that one is forgiven.
It is by dying that one awakens to Eternal Life.

Sweet? C. :)!!

Saint michael is my man but I appreciate St Richard cos I was named after him and he is my personal patron. But I like St. Michael because he is the most powerful of God's archangels and said to be the commander of God's own army. He is said to be like God and is mentioned defending God's people from the beginning to the end. That guy has lots mf mysteries surrounding him and his image representaion is usually conquering the devil and holding the scale of justice. Michael is my man

Saint Lucy, whose name means 'light', is the patron saint of the blind. She is supposed to have asserted 'No one's body is polluted so as to endanger the soul if it has not pleased the mind' Like the idea, that people can take your body but not your mind or soul. (oh, and we share the same name)!
