I have wondered, as Jesus said the Antichrist would have millions of followers, and would deny that Jesus was the son of god.

NAB 1Jn 2:22 Who is the liar? Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist.

1Jn 4:3 and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus does not belong to God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world.

2Jn 1:7 Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh; such is the deceitful one and the antichrist.

The antichrist could well have been Mohammed, i.e., the false prophet spoken of in the Apocalypse.

Christians are following a false Judaic Messiah , if that helps .

A) In Judaism Jehovah (aka God ) will never make himself flesh. This idea is hallmark of pagan, idolatrous faiths.
B) It is not permitted by the Lord for one person to be punished for another persons sin ( Deuteronomy 24:26 ).
C) In Judaism a God ( aka Jehovah ) cannot die not on a Cross and can not die for anyone’s sins . Only Pagan Messiahs and Gods sacrificed themselves.

It seems Christians are following a False Messiah and Muslims are following a False prophet.

St John talks about the 'Spirit of AntiChrist' (I John 4:3)- ie anybody who doesn't agree with his (St John's) line of thinking- so i guess that means everybody who doesn't accept the New Testament to be God inspired and that Jesus is God made flesh- in other words, about 95% of the world's population, Muslims, hindus, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, atheists, Jedi, the lot.

If there is an anti christ he must be bloody busy keeping tabs on all of us

It would be scary if there were people out there starting to think like that. If they were, they would then start to think about how to destroy the antichrist followers. To start to apply thinking about a group of people like this is how christianity has developed a reputation for being a very blood thirsty religion.

I personally know a few muslim people and they are very nice and very likeable people. Nothing dangerous about them. They go to work, take care of their families, and try to figure out how to get the most out of this month's paycheck, like every other person in the US. I do not see these people as evil or dangerous. That right there is a breakdown in the question. There are some people out there of the muslim religion who are dangerous, however, they are the minority. There are people out there of the christian faith who are dangerous and (luckily) they are the minority. However, we have to guard against a us vs. them mentality or it will become a blood bath.

Absolutely not. The majority of muslims are similar to us. They eat, sleep, shop, attend religious services. There are extremists, however. Just like we have, such as Pat Robertson and Ralph Reed. Then there are even more extreme individuals who will kill in the name of their God. But these people are all we see and hear about in our media (all sources). During the middle ages, Christian crusaders killed many muslims in an effort to take the holy land. All of these actions are horrible.
If this scenario is not the answer you were seeking, I should also say that anyone who belongs to a different religion from us is not worshipping an antichrist. To show disrepect and to denegrate another person's religion is to show disrespect and to denegrate your own.

To be a follower of this "Antichrist" would not one first have to believe in it?

You fail to see that Muslims are not interested in Christ, only in their prophet Mohammad. Therefore, I do not think Muslims will spend their time wallowing in an absession about a faith they do not have thoughts for.
