No. Alcohol only gets better with age. I drank 2 year old Hypnotiq the other night and I'm still alive, so I'd say you are ok to drink it.

You should be fine! Unopened, a bottle of liquor will last a lifetime. You don't have to worry about spoiling, the high alcohol content will take care of that. The only thing you have to worry about is taste; after you open the bottle it will eventually pick up impurities from the atmosphere that will effect the taste. Possibly through the bottle too, but I doubt it. I've heard people keeping a bottle around 20 years or more! Some people say it gets stronger over the years... But it's still safe to drink (again the alcohol kills anything that could harm you).

The shelf life on hard booze is indefinite. I have a 30 year old bottle of Whiskey that gets sipped out of every Christmas. It's fine.

It is important to make sure opened bottles of hard liquor get sealed well after they are opened because they could evaporate over time.

Red wines can keep for many years if properly stored, but the shelf life on white wine is about 2-3 years depending on the variety. Champagne can keep for a long time as well.

Beer...the common swill mass produced in cans and sold in 30 packs should be drank by the expiration date. Better quality beers will hold out for a long time. How much hopps and the alcohol content of the beer determine it's shelf life. Keep your beer in the cellar.

I think the answer has a lot of variables. thus
1,Most non-vintage wine or liquor is made to drunk within a year or two of production, I suggest buying any non-vintage wine or liquor within short time to drink it. Although liquor's shelf life is longer then other wine.
2.It is important that the wine and liquor ( include Chivas regal)be stored in a place that is cool, and with a constant temperature. If the store gets warm in the summer, or is heated to 70 degrees F in the winter then that is also a problem, it can be produce precipitants or evaporate.
3.Wines and liquor sealed with corks should be stored on their sides, or the cork will dry out and leak air into the wine and liquor(Chivas regal). This isn't important for a few months, but over years it does become a problem.(evaporate or precipitant).

No! Chivas ... don't pitch THAT!

If it hasn't been opened, it'll be just fine. And, even after it's opened, it will be good for a long time, as long as you keep it tightly closed.
