From the point of view of the Christian faith didn't he actually help save humanity by betraying Jesus?
If yes shouldn't Christians also celebrate him alongside Jesus?

I grew up mormon... and they always regarded Judas as having had an integral "part of the plan." He was not villanized...

If you read the Gospel of Judas, Judas did what Jesus asked him to do. So, yeah, Judas gave up his life as Jesus did.

Well - if you read the Book of Judas - written by the gnostics, you would have to assume he was simply fulfilling prophecy. Doesn't mean he get's celebrated. We don't celebrate other disciples - like there's no Doubting Thomas day.

He betrayed Jesus, he betrayed a friend.
He made his choice.
To celebrate Judas is a Gnostic idea, incomprehensible.
Alongside? Make him equal?
Absolutely not.

Judas obviously didn't agree with you.
St Paul says we can never do a bad thing for the sake of a good thing, that that is Satanic.
Anyway, logically, if you can do a bad thing for a good end, and a good thing for a bad end, then what is 'good' and 'evil' ?
