If you read the Gospel of Judas, Judas did what Jesus asked him to do. So, yeah, Judas gave up his life as Jesus did.

Well - if you read the Book of Judas - written by the gnostics, you would have to assume he was simply fulfilling prophecy. Doesn't mean he get's celebrated. We don't celebrate other disciples - like there's no Doubting Thomas day.

He betrayed Jesus, he betrayed a friend.
He made his choice.
To celebrate Judas is a Gnostic idea, incomprehensible.
Alongside? Make him equal?
Absolutely not.

Judas obviously didn't agree with you.
St Paul says we can never do a bad thing for the sake of a good thing, that that is Satanic.
Anyway, logically, if you can do a bad thing for a good end, and a good thing for a bad end, then what is 'good' and 'evil' ?

I suppose that we should celebrate the 9/11 terrorists for helping us to realize our deficiencies in airport security too.
