Because the very idea of what it means to be "british" has been so degraded that now to be british is, by definition, to have been born in Britain.
In other words, what multiculti liberals have done is simply to redefine a horse as an organism that born in a stable. Doesn't make sense, but that is how it is in Brave New Europe.

Britain is the stable, not the pig.
the pig is a "stable born pig"
the muslim is a british born muslim and thus British
come now, surely that is obvious.

Hi,
I think religion itself has little to do with nationality . As an analogy, you may recall the times of Old Henry VIII and Elizabeth 1, Roman Catholics were considered in part a clear and present danger to the state whose loyalties were thought to be closer to Rome's than their monarchs. Though they were carefully monitored and restricted from public offices they were none the less still English subjects.

As a reverted Muslim,I truly envy you the wonderful family unity and live that exists in the majority of Muslim homes. It is truly a great gift and one that too many take for granted. Coming from a Western background I fell in love with my husbands rather large extended family. I only have one brother who is 7 yrs older and I hardly know him. There is a very old Egyptian saying" I and my brother. I,my brother and my cousins. I, my brother, my cousins and the community, this is my family." One of the determining reasons I was drawn to accept Islam was seeing the rapport and love that existed in Muslim homes, this is truly a blessing of Allah swt. It was something I needed in my life and just another gift that becoming a Muslim has given me. I realise the same love would have been there for me in the family if I had not chosen to revert. But now I really feel a part of the family going to masjid with my sisters in law and having long talks, (with translation prompts from the family) with my very elderly Grand Um in law, who we call Ummie and I'm not just the Australian wife, sister and daughter in law I am also Muslim and very proud to be for I feel truly blessed.

know what you mean. but a person's religion does not dictate what their nationality, their place of birth is what decides that.
An example is if your parents are english, and you were born in germany, technically by the mere fact of where you were born, you would be german.

because religion is a choice, where you are born is not your choice its your karma .if anybody is privileged enough to have a birth in a great majestic country like Britain then they have been very lucky for the freedom you have for the choice of religion, Rather than it being imposed by penalty of death
