You assume that the main thing that takes up people's time is to worship someone/something else.

I for one worship the sun. After all, the major religions of the world are all derived from sun worship.

You know that whole "Christ the son was born on December 25th." Well What happens a couple of days after the winter solstice when the sun is very low in the sky? It starts to rise again. The SUN is born. Not the son.

Just one example of many of the early Christians turning natural phenomenon into the drama of a human actor.

Nothing up at the "worship" level, but check my profile for some information on my interests and activities.

Taking up my time currently is renovating a newly purchased 300-year-old house.

I do not "worship" anything

closest would be the Sun, as it is the source of all life on this planet. A real and concrete visible example of power greater than ourselves, and revered worldwide for ages.

A daily renewal of "faith" is provided with each dawn

I worship nothing, I have a reverence for our amazing universe.

Happy Solstice to you, too!

Well, worship is a loaded term. Sometimes I'll attend liberal Quaker or UU services to meditate on life. I spend time with my family and my community. And I try to stay active politically.

I suppose those are analogous to what believers do when they go to church.

I don't consider myself an Atheist, but I was at one time.

I also don't really like the word "worship". It's degrading.

I show respect and reverence for our Mother Earth, because it is from her that everything comes, and to her that everything returns. She has given us all we need to sustain life on her planet. But I consider her more of a power than a deity.

I don't worship anything

And as most xians don't seem to be spend much time (or any for that matter) worshipping their god I would assume my time is spent in much the same way as theirs.
