I would like to email a 16MB video but need to reduce it to less than 10MB so that it is small enough to attach to an email. Winzip cannot make it small enough. Is there a file conversion tool that would work?

WinRAR and Winzip only reduce the file to 15.9MB

Why not send it via http://www.sendthisfile.com the free version on offer may be a bit slower but it works

Two options:
1) You can convert the file from WMV to XVID. The files size would reduce a lot.
a normal 1:30:00 movie in AVI fomat requires 2 CD's. In the XVID format one CD is more than enough.
or
2) In Winzip v11.1. when adding the file change the compression to 'PPmd" as the default is 'Zip 2.0'.
