Thank you so much for your answers ! I will do just that ! Now I have another question too. Is 1 bean enough for 1 cake?..What quantity to use?

Shove them down into a jar of sugar and let sit a few week sto make vanilla sugar. You don't really have time for that right now....

Split lengthwise, and scrape seeds out of the bean halves and add to custards, creme brulees, or frostings to see vanilla specks and give a subtle vanilla flavor.

You can also steep a split bean (after scraping seeds) in a milk mixture ifyou're going to make a custard of some sort.

Any solid food market could desire to have them the two interior the baking isle ot the spice isle. It feels like an prolonged black wrinkled been and is in many cases packed in a tube, 2 beans. Now in case you employ it, slice the bean open from precise to backside and use a small knife to scape out the internal seeds and all. i take advantage of the empty bean to make vanilla sugar, I fill up a jar with standard sugar, stick the empty bean into the middle and close the lid. The sugar will soak up the vanilla style. super for baking or in teas or perhaps coffee.

You can still make vanilla sugar after you slice open the beans and use the inside. Do what the other poster described - just put the leftover pod in the sugar. It's wonderful for baking later! (if you're like me it doesn't have to be a holiday to bake!!)

It's super easy:

Just cut the bean with a SHARP knife length-wise
Open the bean up and lay it flat, holding with your fingers
Run the edge of your knife down the length of the bean and put the seeds into whatever you're cooking.

It gives you an AMAZING flavor that no extract can duplicate!

Merry Christmas!

the easiest way would be to INFUSE the milk , oil , and even your sugar's with that little bean !!
TO DO THAT ,SPLIT THE BEAN ,AND SCRAPE THE SEEDS AND FLESH !
set in a seperate bowl and get everything you want with the bean-flavoring ready then just divide ( for sugar's and powders ) force the flavor with a blender or processor ,for the liquid's just add while heating then cool ( actually cakes and cookies taste better this way ) have you ever tasted ,maple-(real) butter w/ black-or-blue berry syrup on corn or pancakes? you otta try it on plain o'l corn !!! yummmmmmmmie!!

Slice them open and then run your knife down the middle of them to scrape out all of the inside. Use the inside to add vanilla flavor to your recipe.

If they are whole use a grinder to grind them finely and use them in your recipe, much easier to eat and use when blended or grinded.
