i would tell her to get a special brush just for cats and that she has to brush her cats DAILY even if just for 30 seconds in order for hair not to build up. it is the built up hair that has fallen out but not yet reached the ground that is shedding. The hairs stay on the cat but are no longer embedded in the skin. if you brush, you get them before they fall on the ground. makes the cat feel better too which is much more important. as for listening about her cats, she may be lonely or just think you care. if you don't care is she getting the impression that you do care from you? are you misleading her in friendship? i am not saying you are, just throwing out ideas. are there times you talk about things and she listens? she may wonder why you talk about certain things. part of being a friend is giving up time for the other person. listening to someone talk about cats is not a bad thing. she may give up time for you in ways you don't know about. friendship is a two way street. if it is a relationship where you are getting nothing out of it, then GENTLY start to move away. But don't hurt her. treat her like you would want someone you love to be treated.

If they are, then at least one them is on heat and therefore, they are unlikely to be neutered. I would tell her she is really irresponsible and tell her to get her cats down to the vet as a matter of urgency to get them neutered. There are enough unwanted cats in the world. She had the opportunity to stop them but found it amusing to watch instead??!

LOL I thought shagging was a dance that you do to beach music, not cats having sex! If you enjoy listening to her tell you about it, well tell her Thank you. If not make up an excuse & tell her you have to go.

I will tell her to get a life. Or maybe to capture it all on video cam. I don't know, I think it really depends on my mood at that moment. Check your caller id, and don't answer the phone when she calls.....OR, do what I do w/marketers......pick up phone and IMMEDIATELY hang it back up!! That way, I don't have to listen to me on the machine!.....Hopefully, if you do this a few times, she'll quit calling..............Have fun.
