I ordered a package, it got sent to the wrong address. The person at the address signed for another package they were receiving at the same time, but gave mine back. The driver scanned both as if they both had been signed for. SO, he should still have my package.

I called UPS yesterday afternoon, the lady said she would call the driver and would call me back.

I didn't get a call back, so I called again an hour ago. I got another lady and she said she would call the driver and call me back "in two minutes."

It's been an hour. I know they're busy, but I'm leaving town tomorrow. It's a Christmas present for my boyfriend that is leaving for Iraq right after Christmas, and I'd like to be able to give it to him in person.

If she doesn't call back, when is an acceptable time for me to call AGAIN? I don't want to be a bug-a-boo.. but I really need to get my package today or tomorrow. Preferably today, because I kind of want to leave tonight.

I just called back and she was SO RUDE!!

"I have not put my hands on that package, that's why I have not called you back." And then she hung up and didn't even let me reply!

I'd call every 20 minutes until I got an answer. It is your package, after all, and you don't want it getting lost or showing up when you're not there. I wouldn't worry about bugging them.

call back and ask if the package is on the truck. If its not it should be at the routing center and you can get it there. If it is on the truck ask what the drivers route is and you'll go to him. You can do both of these I have before you just need ID to get the package. Ask for a manager/supervisor to asist you and be sweet as pie to her, also having urgency in your voice. IF you have the tracking number even better cause that will show if your package is back on route, which it shouldnt be cause its the wrong address or what hub its at.

If it were my package that was missing/lost whatever, proper etiquettte would not be my first concern. You have paid them to ship it in a timely manner to the right address, which they have not done. I would call back and continue to call back every hour until someone took me seriously and actually done their jobs!!

Call every half-hour until you get an answer. Yes, they are busy, but you are, too, and you have a legitimate concern.

Good luck!

I'd keep calling back...the peeps at UPS are such morons! Almost as bad as Fedex.
