My husband and I first went to Eid prayers, then we went straight to my in laws house and spend the afternoon there. After that, we went to my parents house for dinner. We also have an Eid party to go to tomorrow.

Eid was not so good for me! Iam in a new country, USA and I landed here 5 months back. Iam missing my parents and my sister back home. It used to be a big celebration whenever there is Eid in my hometown in India. But here, I dont know many people. I couldnt find a better way to celebrate Eid than how I used to celebrate back home.
The Eid prayer was at 8:30 this morning. I went there around 8:10 and as soon as Imam came around 8:30 to deliver the baiyan(speech) for the khudba, I felt terrible. The speech was so good that he was talking about families, the love between parents and child, and also reminding us of death. I felt so emotional. I felt tears in my eyes. Iam missing my family a lot. There was no body whom I could hug with and share my burden. New place, new people. I was completely devastated and very emotional after hearing the speech by the Imam. Then after the prayer, I hugged a couple of bros whom I really dont know who they were, but just hugged and shared Eid Mubarak, and I came back to my office.
I am now in my office. I dont feel like working today. Its just been a very emotional day for me! I can still feel tears in my eyes as Iam typing this :(

Alhumdillah we had a wonderful Eid here. We went to prayer then went to a friends house. Had some wonderful food and celebrated this joyous holiday with good friends.
The only bad thing was my youngest son had a head on collision with another little boy. Alhumdillah both are ok but it was scary for a minute we thought the other little boy's nose was broken. Alhumdillah it was not just a little swollen and he had a busted lip. My little man got a huge knot on his forehead. But you know boys will be boy alhumdillah
Anyways sounds like your Eid was great alhumdillah. InshaAllah that party will be nice to.

Just like you, I went to Eid prayer first. Before went home, I went to a fried rice restaurant with my family. Then, I took a rest because I was to tired! After that, with my family, I went to the shopping mall and........ yeah, that's all. Wait! Why do I tell my activity in the Eid day? You asked how we celebrate Eid! That's it! But that's all I can tell you about my activity in Eid day. This is the 3rd day.
Anyway, Happy Eid to all moslems!!!!

Eid was yesterday for us.
Yesterday i couldnt go anywhere out, just spent my time at home with relatives & family, but today i spent my whole day in the desert on a ride with my banshee after a quite long time.
I had a great time with all my cousins & friends, my legs are full of tiny wounds now lol...

We are cooking a dinner tonight and inviting some of my family over. Although, myself and my family are not Muslim, we do enjoy celebrating with my husband, who's family does not live close by. We are also donating some food tomorrow.. and we sent his family some money for our portion of the animal. I hope you all have (had) a nice Eid! Best Wishes!

in the morning we all went to the mosque for eid prayer then to my parents for dinner then to a couple of my friends house then in the evening we went to a place called star city in birmingham with thte kids went bowling played on games ate dinner there just generally enjying the day as a whole wiht all my brothers and stuff

well, first of all, it's the eid prayer, but I was sleeping and couldn't make it -_-"' I'm really ASHAMED!! -_-:''
oh well just forget about that, I know it's not a normal thing that can be forgetten so easily T_T
umm, when I woke up I went to my granma's home as always and got my pocket money eidy, yay, then we went to my aunt's home : )
that was the 1st day, on the 2nd day (yesterday) we went to a furniture showroom then to a restaurant(nothing special : /)...
and today we went to a friend's house to eat BBQ, wow, that was amazing it tastes great, you know when you get together with your bunch of friends and family members, from the eldest to the youngest, that felt great, one of my happiest moments................ HAPPY EID!~ ^_^
