lust is only a sin if it is some thing you want but can not have :)

You have to put this command into the context of those it was given to---the first humans didn't have too many choices when it came to picking a mate, and also didn't require much time to develop and pursue career goals, complete education, set up house, or other things that should be priorities these days BEFORE "hooking up" and "knocking up".

The long drawn out courtships and engagements and dating lots of people before mating with one didn't usually happen--they committed themselves to one of the few available members of the opposite sex and proceeded to live their lives together.

Lust for your mate (and perhaps just a tiny bit for your intended mate) is the way God designed us. Read Song of Solomon if you have any doubt that God created and blessed human sexuality. It's the promiscuous cart-before-the-horse why-buy-the-cow-when-the-milk's free attitude of uncommitted, unfaithful, and unbridled lust and seeing others as sex objects and sex as casual and temporary that is a sin.

When you are MARRIED---it's o.k. to lust after the husband/wife that you married. And be as fruitful as you like!

Lust is a sin when it's after someone you aren't married to--and that's commiting adultery in your heart---which is a BIG NO NO!!!

I've lusted after my husband several times. Fortunately, the lust was returned.

If your wife doesn't "turn you on", then you have some serious problems.

A healthy marriage includes both emotional as well as physical involvement, and that is not lust. You just don't understand the difference between "lust" and "love".

Jesus said if you lust for another ,besides your husband or wife that it is a sin. You can be fruitful and multiply with your spouse.

I can lust after my wife...but I don't think that is lust. Just one of the many wonderful aspects of marriatal love.

Lusting after your husband or wife is okay, it's how babies are made!

It's when you lust after your NEIGHBOR's wife that you get into sin territory.

You don't need lust to be fruitful.

Lust is a dirty word and used in context out of marriage.

The word, "love" will be most appropriate in describing marriage.

When you are married it is not lust. Lust is when you commit fornication or adultery. Sex is for married people.
