No, we've still go plenty of coal.
Seriously, though, it has little or nothing to do with what kind, or how much, fuel we are using. The planet has recently started a 30-year cooling trend - as it did from about 1940-1970 while CO2 emissions continued to rise - which will make those GW idiots look pretty silly.
That's not to excuse wasteful practices or discourage alternative sources; it's just that global warming is not a legitimate reason for concern. When we begin to run out of oil (sometime around 2080) the main issue will be developing other sources of energy; how much of a problem this will be, will depend on how the technology develops between now and then.

As a geologist trained in petroleum exploration, I am somewhat amused by continuous suggestions that we are running out of oil. This drum beat has not stopped since the 1880s and yet more oil keeps coming. Clearly there is a finite limit, but those that think we are nearing that limit are alarmist and ignorant of the true facts in my opinion. In addition, 200 years is a long time and I hope our technology advances beyond it by then. In my opinion oil won't "run out" for thousands of years. In 20 years, I feel confident that we won't be worried about the trivial matter of global warming

Yes, because there will still be coal, and coal is even worse than oil from a global warming point of view. But when coal runs out, global warming runs out too. I have heard estimates like 100 years of oil and 500 years of coal are left in the world.

co2 is unlike different pollution. in case you will locate it, this is not co2. China is working on renewable potential. (hyperlink) did you not comprehend, or do you merely not want to confess it? <> because of the fact there are no solid recommendations. and human beings in this us of a look to need a tax cut back, even while it makes the deficit greater effective. that's stealing from our little ones. those are the morals that each and every person world extensive sees while they seem on the U. S.. in certainty that there are no solid recommendations. in line with capita, the U. S. is lots and away, the main important polluter in the worldwide. we get no credibility everywhere in the worldwide as quickly as we are saying that somebody else has to cut back their emissions until eventually now we do. no-you may make up for the quantity of CO2 we create. whinge all you want. we are the concern. in fact, because of the fact India and china use greater instruction manual exertions of their production technique, it does help cut back co2 introduction to flow American jobs to their economic gadget. have been given any further suggestions? in line with risk ones which will benefit your grandchildren.

Yes, because global warming is moving fast enough that that won't save us.
Although Jello is dreaming when he says "200 years" for oil. It's starting to pinch now.
The neat thing is that the solutions for both involve the same thing heavily. Reduce use of oil. That also stops us from making countries that don't like us very rich. We won World War II in part because we had more money than they did.

Maybe. We have enough oil to fuel current consumption for the next 400 years so there's a lot of time to find out.
