Well, some parts of the Bible are thought to be like a history book. Quoting the Bible really proves nothing at all though. No one knows for sure where this information is coming from.

So, it has a great point of infallibility. i'm curious how you may desire to precise to you the mysteries of God and win you over? What data do you require to have self belief? C.S. No. If you make an assertion that is a repeat of a bible quote and then use the bible to support your assertion, you have what is called a circular argument.
I should also note that nothing outside of mathematics is ever proven. For an assertion to be supported, there must be objective evidence. The bible is not objective evidence of its own assertions.
Also, if as stated above, the bible can be quoted by the devil for his own purposes, what good is it? Not an absolute good, it seems.

Proves absolutely NOTHING, if you don't believe it was written by God, which I don't. You can set there and show me scripture all day long, but if I don't believe it is true, what proof is that? Imagine someone doing that to you with a comic book. After a week of someone showing you the "truths" from a comic book, would you believe it anymore? Oh they say, today was predicted in the bible. Everything is coming true, etc etc. Well, I'm a mortal and I have dreamed the future once. Can't explain it, but it happened.

As an amateur psychologist, epistemologist, ontologist, etc, I say proofs do not exist. Some minds cannot grasp the evidence and some will not, and there is a fine line there.
Just consider this, though. The structure of the universe is trinitys. A proton is three quarks. An atom is proton, neutron electron. The nuclear family is a trinity. A tree is a trinity, and like it or not, believe it or not, trees are our gods. They give us everything. The relationship between the sun, the earth, and life on the earth is a trinity. The sun delivers the paycheck (energy) the earth gives birth and provides a home. Life on the earth just has to recognize this and not destroy it in favor of cars and houses.
Noone has ever had a right to life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. That is all illusion, the universe is a kingdom and when the king says time to die, you gonna do it, no ifs, ands or buts.
On top of all that, consider this: someone saw a beast rise out of the sea, 2,000 years BEFORE Darwin did. They even knew my biochemical makeup, carbon 12, atomic number 666. Like I said, proofs DO NOT EXIST, but I find that this is hard evidence that God DID NOT CREATE intelligent life, He IS CREATING IT!

When I was a Catholic monk, it did between students studying biblical subjects or between monks discussing spiritual subjects ?
I wouldn't do it with you unless I either knew you already had a high view of Scripture, or you were asking an academic question.
But as often happens on Yahoo Answers I think you are leaning on the connotations of your words and not the denotations, as when 2 people are fighthing and once shouts 'Prove it !' Just as an historical note, you can see from St Paul's discussions with the Bereans that, yes, quoting the Bible was instrumental in their conversion. They wanted to see whether the prophecies were fulfilled and whether the nature of the Law was as Paul said.

Quoting the bible proves that a person can read and memorize material. Interpreting what that quote means is something totally different...

I don't suppose it does to someone who has no belief in it as the Word of God, other than to cite a source to show that the person quoting it didn't just make up the statement, misunderstand it, or get if from somewhere else (such as church tradition, or other religious writings besides the Bible.)

In bible it mentions deadbones and which they start to move which isnt what its saying it means spiritually blind people that do not show any goodness and choose to do evil and malicious deeds.
