The University of Louisville has both a fine arts college with a concentration in photography and a police school that teaches criminal justice.

I do a lot of senior portraits and I'll swear that half the kids are going to go to college for criminal justice. Of course that might change before they graduate (hopefully or the field will be flooded!) Why not learn forensic photography? Blend the both, plus the alliteration sounds great!

The best photography school in the world is Art Center College of Design in Pasadena CA. If you can possibly go there it will be the adventure of your life. They have a website and will send you very impressive information. You can get a student loan very easily. LA is a great town for photography.

If you are interested in forensic photography, my fist suggestion is get a degree in criminology then pursue your study of photography from that angle. Most law enforcement agencies will be more interested in hiring you for your understanding of the rules of evidence than the rules of photography. Many community colleges offer AA degrees in the field and also offer courses in photography. This is an excellent path to take as you can follow it up with BS degree after you have established yourself. Check with local law enforcement agencies and follow their advice.
