As suggested have a cover letter.I/n addition to the other suggestion indicate why you are interested in this particular medical college.

This is called a "Cover Letter". In it you explain how you heard of the job offering and how you feel that your "combination of job skills and experience can be of immediate use to the organization."
Bullet a couple of skills or experiences that may have been mentioned in the advertisement, and then close with "Attached you will find my professional resume."
Remember to include a phone number.
