Simple, he might have or not might have existed. If he did he was just a man, nothing more, nothing less. In order to be a messiah he did not fit the requirements. Christians rewrote the rules so that he could be a messiah and that is why people are waiting for the second coming. In Judaism the requirements for the messiah as to be filled during his first visit. The reason for the believe in Jesus in the beginning was that Judea was run by the Romans. They were harsh and unforgiving. The only hope the people saw was the coming of a messiah. So they made Jesus. He gave them hope to rid themselves of the yoke of the Romans. It did not work, but at least they had hope.

Christianity itself would have been a small sect of Judaism and would have disappeared from history except for Paul. He went and converted the masses all over the middle east.

There are many proofs of Jesus' existence in this world: rape, war, murder, theft, disease, famine, drought, abortion, poverty, corruption, natural disasters, illness, birth defects, homelessness, and my personal favorite, little children being sodomized by priests. This is all the proof I need.

Always remember: when you're faced with good and logical reasons for not being brainwashed by propaganda put out by the religious establishment, just reply with the standard: "You don't have enough faith."

There is one, and only one, goal of religion: revenue generation (money). If you don't believe me, ask a member of the religious establishment if they can survive without collecting money. Their answer will be: no, they cannot.

Have you ever asked yourself why God doesn't provide the churches with all that they need instead of needing to collect cash from the congregation?

Oct 10, 1984 I had my last drink (and drug) due to an honest prayer to Jesus

since then I have prayed for much and received more than I ask for . . . not so much money or fame . . . but stuff and needs that are good for me on a deeper level . . . my latest prayer was about needing someone that I could give some work, (ie carpenter) and in effect, enlarge my work efforts, and along came Chris . . . now a guy from the past (maybe ten years ago, whom I had lost touch with) called me . . . Steve . . . it is amazing!

Jesus or God? Are you looking for justification for belief in a higher power? Or just proof that Jesus was a real person who walked the earth.

For me, proof of God comes in the form of my children. When the weight of the world has crushed me flat, my children's smiles instantly refresh and rejuvenate me. Their love for and faith in me when I've failed them in so many ways (unwed, single, poor & working 2 jobs) are proof-positive that God is real.

As for physical evidence that Jesus was real...I can't say but that's why they call it faith. Not having any doesn't make you a bad person. But to those of us who do believe, your life seems that much sadder and harder to deal with. But that's opinion/POV and we all know how those work.

I was able to listen, in person, to an apostle of Jesus Christ testify about the life, death, and resurrection of the Savior. While I listened to his words, the Holy Ghost filled me with joy and I knew without any doubt that what I was hearing was true. It isn't a matter of physical evidence. It is a spiritual testimony.

(This atheist knew I believed)

I was in a middle of my prayer with God and I was giving thanks for having a wonderful atheist in my life and was grateful for everything he'd done. This atheist opened the door and was very abusive to me and slandered me because he saw me doing this. The next three days I couldn't eat or sleep. It affected my work so much that my manager noticed this and got extremely angry with me. I had no one else to turn to. After 3 days of pain and agony, I went to Jesus crying for help. He knew exactly what book of the bible I needed to heal from. I turned to the page and read. The power of his Word was so overwhelming that I was renewed, healed, and strengthed. I spoked to others regarding this atheist's behavior and gave me a few options to take. I know it was God that rescued me! This happened recently. I have forgiven this atheist but the slander still is with me. This is One night I never forget.

Children of God, WATCH OUT for these atheists, if they do anything like this to you or your family, call authority or the police right away!

AN ATHEIST HAS NO RIGHT TO CAUSE HARM TO ANOTHER WHO BELIEVES IN GOD!

I have had a lot throughout my lifetime. I was near death and saw Jesus once. Recently I saw him in a dream. When you have Jesus, you know he is with you all the time. He is the best friend I ever had and I love him so much.

In 1976 God gave me an understanding of what a relationship with Him was really like, and He changed me from the inside out.

Some people change themselves on the outside, but they are still corrupt on the inside. God removed that corruption from the inside and made me a loving, caring individual instead of one that was full of self.

He also made his book come alive to me. For the first time I understood what I read the way He wanted it to be understood.

He humbled me, and since then I have been teaching others that God can do the same for them that He did for me.

I was driving home and there was a traffic stall. It left me idling in traffic for hours. I almost ran out of gas, the needle was way below the guage and every warning light was on, and my engine was sputtering.

I prayed desperately to get home safetly, repeatedly over and over. I watched as my guage slowly climbed up the meter, and I had about 1/4 tank. All my warning lights went off, and it was as though it never happened.

And no, this has nothing to do with angle of the car, I was not on a hill, etc. I wish a non believer was in the car with me at that time.

This was just one thing. Theres way more
