Oh yeah, big time wierd dreams! Odd you should mention teeth, I had couple of srange teeth dreams, the following are extracts from my diary I kept through my pregnancy......
March 16th 2002
Had very strange dream that the queen and queen mother came round and painted my fence and shed, dug me some flower borders and dug a hole for a swimming pool!
March 18th 2002
Threw up this morning for the first time in weeks. Hope morning sickness isn’t coming back. Had another dream about the queen!! What is wrong with me? She rang me up and asked that I go to the palace to teach prince Charles how to breastfeed! He had an enormous pair of boobs which he had to fling over his shoulder and wore his bra back to front. While I was teaching him, a foxhunt came galloping through the palace! Afterwards, the queen awarded me an MBE for services to the royal family!
March 19th 2002
Another odd queen dream – dreamed she kidnapped the baby.
March 20th 2002 19 weeks pg
Another dream about the queen! Dreamed we went for a bike ride!. Weird!
7th May 2002 26 weeks pregnant
Felt very tired all day, didn’t have much energy for anything. Had a nasty dream that I was kidnapped and tied to a table and a woman cut me open and took the baby. The woman had really big sharp teeth.
10th July 2002
Had a strange dream last night that I gave birth to a baby great white shark! The midwives were trying to get me to breastfeed it but I refused – sharks have teeth! Sharp ones! Then Ian came into the ward with a shark shaped babygro and some pollyfilla to cover sharks teeth. WIERD!

It's not unheard of for pregnant women to have some very vivid dreams. Your's probably are related to that in some way. If I were going to make a stab at some sort of interpretation, I'd say it has more to do with a worry about things, and a fear of those things we don't speak about but worry about all the same. Things like if the baby is healthy, and if something is going on to change that. I mean, you are probably doing like all expectant mothers and eyeing every morsel that goes in your mouth, everybody who gets close and coughs, all that sort of thing. The throat hurting is more than likely just a dry throat, since you don't mention being ill otherwise. Sometimes at night our noses get clogged, pregnancy can do that as well by making the mucous thicker- and in your sleep you open your mouth to breath. This is even more likely to happen if you are at the point where rolling over isn't easy or even an option. I wouldn't spend a lot of time over-analyzing this or trying to make it into more than what it probably is. You are likely a little anxious, that's all- and expressing the worry and anxiety in your dreams. Dreams do not have any effect on our reality, they are not any kind of predictor of what is to come unless we let them affect us. I know there are those who put great store in dream interpretation, but I think most people are quite able to do it for themselves, since it's their brain that dreamed it up in the first place. I don't think yours have any deep dark significance, I think all it means is you are pregnant and have the normal mom to be concerns that are just getting to you. Unless you are eating strange combos like sardines and melon before bedtime, that is. Then of course, it could be digestive upset doing it. So just relax and let the dreams go. If there is something particular worrying you, like if you can trust the hubbie when the moment comes to protect your best interests, then get it off your chest. Giving a name to the bugaboo usually makes it go away. And if there isn't anything in particular weighing on your mind, just sign it off to one of those things. Sometimes a dream is really just a dream, and your brain went a little overboard in the weird department.

That's puuuurrrrffeectly normal! Don't worry! You know my mother had those dreams when she bore my eldest sister! Relax. It's the hormones going jumpy. Especially when you are in the 1st pregnancy that is soooo perfectly normal. That's because your body is involuntarily coping to those changes, and you mentally/psychologically coping with the changes in your life, though you don't notice it. Talk to your family and spouse about that. You'll need ther support. And pray, always pray. I believe you're spiritually OK? When my mother bore my sister whatever problems she was having with her body came out to her in nightmares. Why, she dreamt of someone pounding her baby-bearing womb, and when she woke up, she just had a full bladder! Father then guided her to the bathroom. Don't be too worried. If your nightmare gets serious go to the doc for some advice, not before the counsellor or psychologist though. Congratz with the baby!

You can have bad dreams any time. You are just more sensitive and worrying about the future more right now. That is normal...you might be feeling a bit more vulnerable and that is coming out in your dream time. Try thinking of things that make you happy while your doing your bedtime ritual and as you are going to sleep. Also you might want to stay away from scary movies & tv shows for a while...that might help as well. Most of all, eat right, get plenty of excersize, rest and positive thinking!!

I also had crazy dreams when I was pregnant. I guess we have a lot on our minds, we worry more then usual etc. Pregnancy can be quite the experience. Maybe jot the dreams down - you maybe able to right a book later. So relax and await your precious gift.

My second pregnacy was not so bad. The first -whew! I had nightmares all the time...dreams of drowning and stillborn babies..I think it is the stress and uncertainty that goes along with pregnacy

Yes, it's normal. Try not to worry about it. It's caused by hormonal changes.
