I would like to meet, amongst many others, the man born blind. I would not ask him, " What did he do to you?' lol

He always impressed me. He seemed so eloquent in dealing with the Pharisees.

example:
John 9
30 The man answered, "Now that is remarkable! You don't know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will.
32 Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing."

This guy was not an ignorant man. He just happened to be blind. Yet with his knowledge, he stumped the Pharisees. I think that it is proof that God's Spirit was working with him before he actually believed in Jesus Christ, which he did later in the chapter.

Tuberoot, with eternity available, we'd be able to meet everyone in time. Isn't that great. Your choice above is very interesting.

Me, I said before on a similar question I'd like to meet Noah and find out how they all fared together in the ark during the flood and how it felt to know he and his family were the only survivors of God's judgment. I'd like to also meet Esther who was a woman God blessed. She was beautiful, but she was also wise and respectful. And she was courageous in risking her life to save that of her people.

These answers are awesome! It's like a quick time capsule of all recorded history!

Perhaps I'll just follow you all around and listen and observe. These encounters will all be fabulous.

But after we've made the rounds, I'll look around for a guy named Brendan - assuming it's more than a legend - he left Ireland by boat on a mission. A mission to reach out with the Gospel. I'd like to hear what happened when he ventured out "beyond these shores".

Also, I'd like to hear from Patrick himself about the fire and how that contest with the druids paid off (like Daniel in the lion's den).

I'd also love to chat with some of the unmentioned people that were among the crowds when Jesus taught...and then believed.

...but only if there's time! ;o)

Thanks 'root for the great question!

St. Joseph: I think he must have been a very holy and godly man for God to trust him with the upbringing of His only Son. He defied society and married a woman who was pregnant with a child that wasn't his, all because he trusted God unconditionally. But still, after all he sacrificed, he disappeared into the background, leaving the glory to go to Jesus and Mary. What kind of humility is that!

Are you into the Xmas Ale: new wine in old bottles?
You do realize it's all "allegory" and "mystery" x20
written "aforetime" for our "learning", to go "learn".

Here's 7 things you need to learn about God & Son:
- that God in Christ reconciling does NOT impute sin
- that God will have mercy(grace), NOT sacrifice(law)
- there is NO respect of persons with God... NONE
- Son of God on high is NOT the Son of God higher
- "standing" right on high is NOT "sitteth" right above
- Ye are not under law(Jesus), but under grace(Christ)
- ppl recovering from highs speak of higher power after

His Grace --> Mercy ---> Peace [be] with you all. Amen.

Interesting Q. And if I don't get too technical (like this is also part of eternity, right now) here and just go along with the sentiment, of course aside from My Master Jesus, then it would be, for me, Mary's mother, Anne, Jesus grandmother.

Dear Tuberoot,

I'm soooo glad our awsome Father is not going to limit us to just one!

I skimmed through some of the answers and enjoyed Primo's and definitely Suzanne's. Living in Mount Carmel (not the same one) as I do I think of Elijah as my mentor.

I want to meet all of my mentors and they include Ehud who was good with his left hand and the Syrophoenician mother who asked Jesus to help her daughter and the 4 nameless friends who lowered their friend through the roof to Jesus and the Roman Centurion ...

I'm so glad we have Eternity to look forward to!

For His glory,
JOYfilled

I read somewhere that we get to meet all the people in the bible when we die. Besides Jesus, I would love to meet Moses and Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Joseph was really cool too. Mary, Adam and Eve, actually I want to meet all of them!
