I ordered a talking makka pakka and a large floor puzzle, I waited and waited and then finally went on the website and tracked my items, they were sent seperately one with parcel force and one with parcel net. I called mothercare who said that they had both been delivered, but they hadn't. I asked them if they had been signed for, apparently it was just a scribble for the makka pakka. then parcelnet admitted they had lost the floor puzzle so i had to be refunded as its no longer in stock. they had to investigate and find out from the driver where the makka pakka had been left, the driver couldnt give them any more info so they said they'd send me one and it should be here by today, so about an hour ago i called them and asked where it was, they said it was delivered yesterday!! and signed for in a name i didn't know of. so i knocked on all the neighbours doors, none of them knew either. Called them back and the woman confirmed the address... Tyne and Wear!. i Live in bloody Surrey!!

OMG...how frustrating. Bet you feel like ripping a few heads off. I'd put a strongly worded complaint in to the head office and ask them to compensate you for all the time you have wasted having to chase this up because of their inability to provide a halfway decent service.
Good luck...hope your little one gets her Xmas pressie.

I hate big stupid companies using stupider companies for deliveries.
I watched on the news last night that a company that does christmas hampers in australia (you pay a little bit every week and then a couple of weeks before christmas they deliver your hampers to you) had dumped an entire shipment in a dump because of a computer glitch that lost people's address. rather than correct it they just dumped everybodies hampers. Some of the families waiting on them have paid all year long to receive their special christmas food and things as they are low income and can't afford to buy it all at once at christmas time. We are talking entire fridge, freezer and pantry hampers full of food and drinks. Enough to last a month or more for some people.
just sucks doesn't it.
I hope you get your delivery soon so your little girl can enjoy her presents!

Get back on to them, stay calm, if at all possible, and demand that it be delivered some how, anyhow (that's not your problem - it's theirs) by Monday pm. If you don't get the answer you want ask to speak to someone higher than them, if that doesn't work, go higher again and so on.
Bloody disgrace! Then again, I had a parcel to be delivered by Parcel net, said they'd tried to delvier it three times, first was legitimate, second time was on a Sunday when they said they didn't delvier on a Sunday and that's when they claimed it had bee ntried to be delivered three times and returned to Amazon!!

Someone reported on here about mothercare being appalling a few weeks ago. They ordered a bouncy chair & when she opened the box there were random things in it & no bouncy chair, she returned it nut they wouldn't except it, wouldn't give her a refundexchange - nothing.
Hope you get your parcel on time & the right one at that

I took a pushchair back once as faulty, they accused me of breaking it and wanted to charge me for repair, anyway had a right ding dong with the manager and they agreed to send it off, when it came back it was a fault with the buggy and they had to give me a new one, wouldnt buy a buggy of them again.Customer services are rubbish.Hope you little girl gets her present intime for christmas.

I think their mail order service is totally apalling - I ordered a cot bed, and bits of it went sodding everywhere except here.
Never again.
