how do u play Ab chord on the guitar? im teaching myself a new song but dnt no the chords for it lol, plz help :( thanks :D pics of the thret and dots showing were the fingers go would be good :D thank you :D

A flat is the same shape as F major but on the 4th fret instead of the first.

There are many forms of Ab on the fretboard; the common form as mentioned by Robert C. (466544). Consider the following as an alternate Ab: XX1114.

Get a capo. Put the capo on the first fret and play a G shape. That's what capos are for, so you can adjust the key to the singer's voice without having to learn a bunch of new chords.
