People who quote bible verses to support intelligent discussion without the preface of "this is the TRUTH" do not annoy me. i rather enjoy their input.
it is the people who quote the same verses that their youth group leaders used to indoctrinate them and use the guise of "this is the TRUTH, and there is no other truth" who really piss me off. wake up sheeple.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Treat others in the way that you would want to be treated. A man is only as good as his word. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. -my stepdad Well behaved women rarely make history. -Marilyn Monroe. Sometimes change is painful, and sometimes it's beautiful...but most of the time, it's both. I'm so glam, I p*ss glitter. The best things in life are unseen...that is why we close our eyes when we kiss, cry, pray, and dream. Hearts change, I know they do...but mine will forever be in love with you. I love you is eight letters long...and so is bull ****. Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door. A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left. -Marilyn Monroe A true man doesn't need to romance a different girl every night...a true man romances the same girl for the rest of his life. Life is all about the a**...everyone is either covering it, laughing it off, kissing it, trying to get a piece of it, or just plain being one. I'm so effin happy I could s*** rainbows. Don't make someone a priority when they make you an option. There comes a point in life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore, and who always will. So don't worry about the people from your past, there's a reason they didn't make it to your future. Nothing lasts forever, so live it up, drink it down, laugh it off, avoid the b/s, take chances and never have regrets, because at one point, everything you did was exactly what you wanted. Hope these are inspirational...it's what I live by.

Yes. Although I have to admit to a certain awe when a person throws related quote after related quote at you. I wish I had recall like that.

Absolutely! Particularly when they use them in an attempt to condemn others or when they twist the words in the Bible around to suit their own selfish needs.

If it bothers you, why not study the Bible and start quoting it back to them? That's what I did when my husband's aunt started preaching to me.

If the Bible did not exist, people like Lion of Judah would have no opinion on anything. I am amazed that he is able to choose a pair of socks on his own every day.
Then again, perhaps he is not able to.
