Well there's this girl that i like which i'm 2nd ranked in her top 5 friends one of which the 1st ranked is a guy i think she's interested in him becoming her boyfriend. I usually talk with her on msn regulary, we were like best friends, i told her that i liked her. Then after her 1st ranked guy friend went on holidays she slowly stopped talking to me regulary (we still talk sometimes) and i feel that she's not interested in a nice, safe, smart guy like me... The other guy was pretty nice although wasn't as smart as me and got drunk often, he acted like her boyfriend tho, and i'm not sure if i'm doing anything right... What did i do wrong? i feel stupid...

I was her friend from primary school and now sh'es in a diff school than me. Once i met her online again i made from 'not kool guy' to top 5 best friend (2nd ranked) in about 1 week! She shared and talked about alot of things with me and she was the only girl i could even talk to with ease.

okay comin from a chick that has been around the scene a few times in the past girls have phases.
a few years of their life they REALLY go for the tough, bad boy type.this is fun at first. eventually the bad boys get worse till the point that they realise they deserve better.
i had my fair share of bad boys and now i look back and think 'what the hell was i doing' 'i couldve gone with so n so'. we girls tend to like the adventure or the thrill of bad boys it gets the blood really pumpin!
u havent done anything wrong by her or urself. dont go changing urself for anybody but urself!
eventually she will realise that she missed a sure thing and she may regret it.
all i can suggest is distance urself from her a lil bit to make her realise what she is missin out on.
other than that the only other thing that is coming to my mind is "GOOD GUYS ALWAYS FINISH LAST!"
as much as it sux, at times its true.

You did nothing wrong, I assume you are younger and so is she.. All the way up into your early 20's, sometimes past... being the nice, safe and smart guy is not what girls are looking for, although they say they do. They always end up with the biggest prick around that takes them clubbing every night, and is drunk non-stop. Eventually they break up, and go back on the speel on how they want a nice guy, but then they repeat the cycle.. haha. Once you hit your mid 20's, things start to change. Women tend to get over party times and think about having a future.
Well, this is just in general.. it doesn't apply to "every woman". I dodn't even know if you actually know her in person or not, however, your bound to always just be "the friend" til you get older, just how life works :)

There are three options here... 1. She's burned from her last relationship and doesn't want to get hurt again. 2. She had a bad experience with you the last time you dated. 3. She doesn't want to get in another relationship right now. I think the best thing for you to do is either wait and see what happens or confront her and talk to her about these problems. dude.. you're firmly stuck in the "Friend Zone"
She sees you as "nice, safe, smart" but some girls just dont' want that unless they're looking to settle down.
She's obviously interested in mr. No.1 on the friend list and you're "just a friend"
She and this guy may have started dating and that's why she's been off the radar lately.
Just ask her what's up. I'm sure she'll tell ya.
but I'd say move on.

You need to find out for sure if the other guy is her boyfriend or not and stop being so clingy. If you only act like a friend that's just how she will treat you because we women always need one good platonic boyfriend around.

no offense, but maybe she preferred the other guy because he wasnt so safe, sometimes girls like someone a bit more of a risk and something to worry about, sometimes safe is boring, and thats why she just sees you as a friend, cus a relationship with you could get boring fast and not be very exciting.

I think you went wrong when you told her you liked her. Doesn't sound as if she likes you back. Don't feel stupid, though. Relationships, or trying to have one, is a hard thing. Some of us have gone through dozens, just trying to find the right person to be with.

She sounds like the one who is stupid. Talk to other friends and don't get so hung up on this girl. Not to be mean, but it sounds like you like her more than she likes you.
You are not stupid. Use this as a learning experience and grow. You will find the right girl; the world is full of them.

make her laugh n' don' pretend n' show ur feelin's that u' wanna be her boyfriend .. act as a friend ..
n' pass her time .. like doin' diff. thin's .. make her laugh n' this that .. just her time should be passed like awesome ..
n' then .. afta' doin' it 5 to 6 days .. suddenly leave her .. fa' 3 to 3 days .. so that she can miss you n' the thin's u' do with her .. in that way u'll make space in her heart .. n' keep doin' this typa' thin's ..
n' keep on rollin' with ur life .. don' act like some stupid needy person around her ..

DONT ACT LIKE HER BOYFRIEND! I know this sounds weird, but be yourself. Girls will go for the tough guys when looking for someone to date, but in any emotional time, especially marriage, they will go for the more sensitive guy. :P
