craig b: Would Jesus practice what he preached? Because he did talk about the harvest at the end of the world where the good wheat would be brought into his barn (believers) and the weeds (unbelievers) would be burnt.

vidocq: I don't think it matters whether Jew or not. It is whether believer or not according to what Jesus said. Just so happened that Jews didn't worship Christ whilst Hitler was in power. So Hitler was burning them out of Christ's kingdom like Jesus wanted.

southsider: Saw Schindler's List and a number of holocaust movies. I don't know what you are getting at. Are you saying that Jews believe that Jesus is their saviour?

biro: Sheesh, I don't know, maybe for the same reason he sends people to Hell? And didn't the Jews go through Hell? Guess that's unbelief for you, right?

He wrote in Mein Kampf: "by defending myself from the Jew, I am doing the Lord's work". Make of that what you will.

If you are asking this question with out any bias then it is an interesting question. However, JESUS did not ever say that the people who did not follow HIS particular teachings would burn in hell. He taught to be pious and to be good spiritually.
It is the people like King George, Martin Luther and whoever else that have changed his words around to meet their needs at the time. Man has always changed the teachings to fool. the masses. The bibles that everyone follows today is not the original bible, nor the original teachings... they have been changed and diluted. Jesus lived his life as a jew, the last supper was passover... he had additional things that he wished to, add other than the observance of judaism, he wanted the ten commandments followed. He did not want people to just go through the motions of Judaism such as temple and not follow the other main important points. So Hitler was doing just the opposite iof what Jesus wanted. Completely the opposite. People today really need to go back to the original teachings of Christ and see what the main base of his thoughts and teachings were. It is such a shame that such a beautiful thing can/ could be so debaucherized.

Only in his sick and twisted mind maybe. Only FUNDAMENTALIST Christians believe such a thing, and even they wouldn't think that Hitler was acting on such intentions. Don't offend us with such a sick question.
and In Mein Kampf Hitler conveniently forgets that Jesus is a Jew. He used that line for manipulation, that way ignorants will say, he was just doing God's will.
Edit. He was also killing The Roma, Soviets (particularly prisoners of war); ethnic Poles; other Slavic people; the physically or mentally disabled; gay men; religious dissidents such as Jehovah's witnesses, and political dissident. He didn't cared who they followed or what they Religion were they following, He just wanted to build his own perfect society with his perfect population.

why would Jesus have wanted any kind of murder let alone the murder of millions of innocent people!! Hitler was a sick maniac! who is burning in hell as we speak! Also the Nazis didn't just kill Jews they killed members of the opposition parties, disabled people , gypsies, homosexual people, Slavs, polish people, catholics ( i think) and basically anyone who didn't fit their idea of the "perfect race". What Hitler and the Nazis did can never ever be justified.

No. Jesus was Jewish. I'm actually fairly convinced he didn't especially care for gentiles.
On the other hand, there's an argument to be made that Martin Luther might not have been entirely unhappy with what Hitler did.

No and no again
Just in case you didn't get it the first time, the answer is no
Like its 'no' for all related questions about the spanish inquisition, the troubles in NI, persecution of women, the crusades etc etc
Read the Bible - start with the Gospel of Mark and see if you can still ask that question in any sense of good conscience or with any basis in fact

they didnt teach you in school, or you flunked out..the school system should be ashamed and you should be ashamed for not knowing.
rent the movie, this one you might have heard, Shindlers List..or better yet, rent the 9 hour movie Sheol.
Or rent the movie Sophies Choice
Next time you see someone tatooed with a number on them, from the camps....ask them..and shut up and listen.
Questions like these prove that teaching is not being done in this country!

A very sick and warped question about the greatest mass murderer in the history of the human race..Christ never advocated murder. Hitler used religion when it was conveinent, as he also used the prophecies of Nostradamus.

Where did that come from?
The saying - "What would Jesus do?" is not just a catchy little phrase. It applies to a lot of these situations. Were Hitler's actions consistant with what Jesus would do?
Come on...............
