Considering I've never actually seen that part of the anatomy of a female I can't say that I'm the expert on it. But from what I'm hearing I don't think there is anything wrong with you. It sounds like you're young and not used to the changes that your body is going through right now. My guess is that you perhaps have a general body image issue. You often worry about your looks and what other people think of them. And now that you are going through puberty you're becoming far more aware of your vagina and you're transferring those body image issues to that part of yourself.

I would suggest you talk to your mother. Or a trusted friend or relative who is older. I'm sure they've been in the same position before and would be happy to help answer your questions. If you aren't comfortable with that, talk to a doctor, they don't know you and thats what they are there for.

I'm sorry, you see vaginas on TV? What? On cable porno? Or what?

If you're really worried, see a doctor, but I think your childhood doctor would have noticed if something was wrong. Also, try reading the book "Our Bodies, Our Selves." It will show you real pictures of actual vaginas, not ones on porn movies.

it's probably fine. they are all different, different shapes, wrinkles, waves. Same with men. dont worry. I dont know how old you are, but if you get a pap test yet, just ask the OB-GYN if s/he thinks every looks like its workng. if you feel good, that's something to be thankful for. don;t be attached to any self consciousness. appreciate your dfferences and concern yourself with compasson for others
