im going to canada on the 27th of december (im from australia) ... whats new years eve like? is it really good?

LOL....sorry hun, but Canada is the second biggest country in the world, so you need to be more specific with your question...

It's cold out east, with LOTS of snow..but not so cold here, and no snow (just rain) on the west coast...

Each city will have it's own New Years Eve Events..

Its VERY cold!
but....
there is always something going on (depends where you go)
for example:
Toronto: Nathan Phillips square always has live entertainment and its televised, and you can watch the ball drop.

Barrie: Usually has concerts, and family skating, etc..

Niagara falls: There is entertainment on the main strip and there is a winter festival and the light look really pretty.

There is always something fun to do as i have listed.
There is also the options of bars or night clubs (most sell tickets and have special events as well)

its like news year in the USA people have parties ,First kiss of the year ,clubs till 3am and most important 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 countdown
