The only thing I hate is that I didn't start climbing 10 years earlier and that I will probably never be strong enough to climb 5.12 - but I love climbing and everything about it.
There is nothing like being on the 5th pitch of a climb and looking down at the last 1000ft of rock below you that you just led - the trees look like 1" toys and you are on top of the world.
There is also nothing like conquering that hard top-rope route that really pushes you to your limit - you know you are perfectly safe if you fall so you can really take your climbing to its limit.
Both types of climbing push you mentally and physically and really put the stress of life behind you.
Good Luck

I've been climbing since 1964. Mainly on rotten & muddy limestone inside caves with only helmet headlamp for lighting. I've got the equipment and formal instruction for technical climbing. I'm usually bouldering at seaside locations. What I hate about climbing include the folks who bolt too much, those who won't remove unsafe anchors, all who don't pack out their poo, the substance abusers, my being obliged to haul out the crushed failures who could have saved me the trouble by being mashed by a locomotive or something clearly life threatening elsewhere, and sobbing
family members who linger in life after the unlucky depart.

I don't hate rock climbing, you'll probably find it hard to find people who hate rock climbing in the climbing section of yahoo answers. I do hate the way improving is time consuming and takes a lot of effort.

Like someone already said, it's expensive.
Sometimes when it's cold and windy my fingers get frozen. It's even worse when I'm ice climbing. It hurts and it's harder to climb!
Getting attacked by bugs or ants while trying to climb/belay.
Otherwise I love everything about it. Even the "epics" like getting a rope stuck on a multipitch at the end of the day.

I don't like climbing because it's easy! It's fun, but hard. Maybe it's fun because it's potential for thurough exhaustion!
One thing I don't like though is the attitudes and actions of other climbers. Yes, that's right....other climbers have the potential to be climbing's worst detraction.
Damage to crags by haphazard bolting and chipping, litter, loud music and behavior.
I like low impact camping's motto "leave no trace". Water bottles, power bar wrappers and enough chalk on the climb to paint a fence are not "leaving no trace".
This is a pretty small subset of the climbers I have met. But it only takes a few to give us all a bad name.
Oh, I also don't like how expensive gear can be, because I'm cheap.

in mountain mountain climbing, each and every team would desire to be sure each and every member risk-free practices. good team will help one yet another to end the climb. through fact the possibility is your existence. we are in a position to work out many victims in this severe recreation whilst the team does not good or have not got sufficient ability. i think of you will desire to declare sorry to him and clarify which you probably did no longer do it in undesirable purpose and you do no longer comprehend how risky it somewhat is. Sending him goodies devoid of say sorry to him is ineffective. human beings merely can forgive somebody who say sorry. you may deliver chocolate and say to him which you're sorry and could no longer repeat an identical mistake returned. i think he will comprehend.

Other than falling and being lowered, trying not to break your neck when you have to hike back down from the top.
