To be inspired by God is an attitude change in a person, where they realize that he is the one that knows all things and knows the person of our heart. If we truly seek him, then we learn to follow his paths by imitating his ways, and daily asking for his help through supplication of his spirit.
If he hears us then you could say we are being led by him. This would be shown by the fruits we bare.
However people can be led by him in different ways. For example the Pharaoh and his army were led by him into the sea. The Watchtower Society is a publishing company and is used by him, Only humans are inspired of God.
So are you inspired by God ?
(2 Peter 1:20-21) . . .For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

If they were you would have thought that they might have gotten something right by now. Jehovah's Witnesses and their many false prophecies The Witnesses make many claims in their attempt to convert you to their faith. They profess to have the only true Christian church, to be the only true representatives of God, to have the only correct biblical teaching, and to be the only true announcers of Jehovah's coming kingdom. If they are the only true church and are the only true voice of God's word, then what they say should prove to be true, especially in prophecy. When it comes to predicting the future, the Watchtower organization fails miserably. Following are some of the false predictions made over the years by the Watchtower organization. If you present these to a JW, he will probably say something like, "Those are taken out of context," or "They didn't claim to be the prophet of God," or "The light is getting brighter and we are understanding Bible prophecy better now," etc. Make a copy of these false prophecies, found in the appendix, and give it to them to check. They are right out of the Witnesses' literature. Remember Deut. 18:22, "If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him." If someone makes a false prophecy, and they have claimed to be a prophet of God, then they are false prophets and are not to be listened to. Do the Witnesses claim to be the prophet of God? Yes, they do. In 1972 the Jehovah's Witness Watchtower claimed to be the prophet of God. IDENTIFYING THE "PROPHET" -- "So does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come? These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet?...This "prophet" was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah's Christian Witnesses...Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a 'prophet' of God. It is another thing to prove it," (Watchtower, Apr. 1, 1972, p. 197). (See Deut. 18:21.) * 1897 "Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present, since October 1874," (Studies in the Scriptures, vol. 4, p. 621). * 1899 "...the 'battle of the great day of God Almighty' (Revelation 16:14), which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership, is already commenced," (The Time Is at Hand, 1908 edition, p. 101). * 1916 "The Bible chronology herein presented shows that the six great 1000 year days beginning with Adam are ended, and that the great 7th Day, the 1000 years of Christ's Reign, began in 1873," (The Time Is at Hand, forward, p. ii). * 1918 "Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection," (Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p. 89). * 1922 "The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914," (Watchtower, Sept. 1, 1922, p. 262). * 1923 "Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge," (Watchtower, Apr. 1, 1923, p. 106). * 1925 "The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year," (Watchtower, Jan. 1, 1925, p. 3). * 1925 "It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work," (Watchtower, Sept., 1925, p. 262). * 1926 "Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that the friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything," (Watchtower, p. 232). * 1931 "There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah's faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time...and they also learned to quit fixing dates," (Vindication, p. 338). * 1941 "Receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the Lord's provided instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before Armageddon," (Watchtower, Sept. 15, 1941, p. 288). * 1968 "True, there have been those in times past who predicted an 'end to the world', even announcing a specific date. Yet nothing happened. The 'end' did not come. They were guilty of false prophesying. Why? What was missing?.. Missing from such people were God's truths and evidence that he was using and guiding them," (Awake, Oct. 8, 1968). * 1968 "Why are you looking forward to 1975?" (Watchtower, Aug. 15, 1968, p. 494). A JW might say that the organization is still learning. If that is so, then how can they trust what they are taught now by the Watchtower? Will what they are being taught now change also? A true prophet of God won't err in prophesying. Only a false prophet does. The Jehovah's Witness organization, that claims to be a prophet of God, is really a false prophet. Jesus warned us by saying, "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect -- if that were possible" (Matt. 24:24).

Being led by the Holy Spirit and being "divinely inspired" are 2 different things. Only the original copies in early languages were divinely inspired...
So no we do not claim to be divinely inspired. I don't think most Protestant groups make such a claim either.
Those who have prophets like Mormons or who follow traditions etc. like Catholics and pope may think they have divine inspiration.
But we don't.
Led by God simply means he is helping you are you are a true servant rather than falsehood. Divinely inspired means he is telling your every word and controlling the writing, etc.

2 Tim 3:16 uses the word “theopneustos” which means according to Strong’s dictionary
“divinely breathed in: - given by inspiration of God”
So when the Bible was written, God used men and inspired “divinely breathed” them so that the Bible is not men’s ideas but from God’s.
The Greek word for led is “agō”
Thayer Definition:
1) to lead, take with one
1a) to lead by laying hold of, and this way to bring to the point of destination: of an animal
1b) to lead by accompanying to (into) a place
1c) to lead with one’s self, attach to one’s self as an attendant
1d) to conduct, bring
God , thru his spirit” is leading his congregation and his anointed ones. It doesn’t mean that when God leads his anointed servants, that that servant never makes mistakes. Since the anointed person is imperfect ,he cannot perfectly follow God.
David, Peter, Paul etc did not consistently follow God, but God LED them in order for ALL OF THEM to reach their DESTINATION.

Jehovah's Witnesses have literally never claimed to be inspired. Nevertheless, in a general way Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jehovah is guiding His universal organization, including the earthly part of that organization which includes the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Of course, the bible plainly teaches that Almighty God does not micromanage every detail of every facet of His organization, but only intervenes when matters go beyond where He is willing to allow them to go. Similarly, Jesus also has delegated the care of his earthly "domestics" or "sheep".
...(Matt 24:45-47) The faithful and discreet slave whom his master [Jesus] appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? ...Truly I say to you, [Jesus] will appoint him over all his belongings [on earth].
...(John 21:15-17) Jesus said to Simon Peter: “Simon son of John, do you love me...?” He said to him: “Yes, Lord, you know I have affection for you.” He said to him: “Feed my lambs. ...Shepherd my little sheep. ...Feed my little sheep."
Historically and biblically, it seems rather obvious that ancient Israel was guided by Jehovah, but they even strayed into pagan false worship and sacrificed their own children to false gods. It would be blasphemous to suggest that God's guidance led Israel to such terrible mistakes.
...(2 Kings 16:2-3) Ahaz when he began to reign...reigned in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the eyes of Jehovah his God like David his forefather. And he went walking in the way of the [bad] kings of Israel, and even his own son he made pass through the fire
Interestingly, even Christians who enjoyed direct communication from heaven at times came to wrong conclusions; these wrong conclusions were even communicated "out among the brothers"!
For example, the apostle Peter enjoyed remarkable privileges in the early congregation, but it seems that he was the source of an incorrect teaching about the apostle John that was not formally corrected until several DECADES had passed, and John himself finally wrote his gospel about 98 C.E.
...(John 21:21-23) Peter said to Jesus: “Lord, what will this man do [that is, the apostle John]?” Jesus said to him: “If it is my will for him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you? You continue following me.” In consequence, this saying went out among the brothers, that [the apostle John] would not die. However, Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but: “If it is my will for him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you?”
Yet, God and Christ plainly blessed the work of Peter and the first century Christian congregation. Similarly, what group is working harder than Jehovah's Witnesses to preach God's message globally?
...(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Inspired by God
The apostle Paul stated at 2 Timothy 3:16: “All Scripture is inspired of God.” The phrase “inspired of God” translates the compound Greek word the·o′pneu·stos, meaning, literally, “God-breathed” or “breathed by God.”
This is the only occurrence of this Greek term in the Scriptures. Its use here clearly identifies God as the Source and Producer of the Sacred Scriptures, the Bible. Their being “God-breathed” finds some parallel in the expression found in the Hebrew Scriptures at Psalm 33:6: “By the word of Jehovah the heavens themselves were made, and by the spirit [or breath] of his mouth all their army.”
Led by God
Romans 8:14 - "For all who are led by God’s spirit, these are God’s sons."
The two verses before it help us to discern the context of Romans 8:14...
Romans 8:12, 13 - "So, then, brothers, we are under obligation, not to the flesh to live in accord with the flesh; for if YOU live in accord with the flesh YOU are sure to die; but if YOU put the practices of the body to death by the spirit, YOU will live."
So those who live by the flesh are not led by God's spirit...
See Galatians 5:19-21 - "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom."
Now the Spirit at Galatians 5:22-24 - "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. Moreover, those who belong to Christ Jesus impaled the flesh together with its passions and desires."
Okay, so if you examine the scriptures and follow the principles to the best of your abiblity then you are being led by God's spirit...
John 4:23, 24 - "Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”"
I hope this answers your questions...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
James 1:22 - "However, become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves with false reasoning."
1 Peter 2:21 - "In fact, to this [course] YOU were called, because even Christ suffered for YOU, leaving YOU a model for YOU to follow his steps closely."
John 14:15 - "“If YOU love me, YOU will observe my commandments;"
John 14:21 - "He that has my commandments and observes them, that one is he who loves me. In turn he that loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will plainly show myself to him.”"
1 John 5:1-4 - "Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God, and everyone who loves the one that caused to be born loves him who has been born from that one. By this we gain the knowledge that we are loving the children of God, when we are loving God and doing his commandments. For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome, because everything that has been born from God conquers the world. And this is the conquest that has conquered the world, our faith."
Romans 1:28 - "And just as they did not approve of holding God in accurate knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mental state, to do the things not fitting,"
Lastly...
1 Timothy 2:3, 4 - "This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, whose will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth."
Notice: "an accurate knowledge of truth"
Reading it is good, very good, and doing it is excellent...
Accurate knowledge is still required...
Okay, What are the TWO Greatest commandments Jesus spoke of?
What other commands did he give to his disciples?
What would be the identifying mark of a true Christian?
Journey Well...
