Well alcohol potentiates the actions of warfarin, no safe dose is recommended so far. Better refrain from it and NO doctor will advise you on taking alcohol, if he has gray matter in his skull.
You have a choice now.
Best of luck.

The immediate concern with drinking while on warfarin is that you will hurt yourself, causing internal bleeding. If you drink until you vomit your stomach is more likely to bleed, causing complications. It will also mess up your INR levels for a fair amount of time, causing them to fluctuate enough that you could have some serious complications.
That said, talk to your doctor. I'm on the same medication, and have had my fair share of barely remembered nights! It depends on where they are keeping your INR, and of course, drinking too much is not good for anyone. It's fine to have the occasional drink, but you aren't really supposed to get drunk. Your doctor will have more info for you, and will be able to give you a better idea of what risks you run, which will depend on why you are taking it, as well as INR levels.

My husband is on the same medication.Warfarin is usually monitored with lab work ever so often.Alcohol can affect how the medication works and might tncrease your chances of bleeding.refrain from "binge " drinking. Only a medical doctor can instruct you on what is best for you .The next time you get your meds refilled ask your pharmacistry for a print out explaining the proper use of your meds.As for me I'd leave the alcohol out,you booze you could lose.
