I am cooking a couple of days early for my kids birthday party for about 30 people. But I am unable to decide how do I reheat the food just at the right time cause I will be busy with the guests and we have decorations to do that day, so transferring the food into small dishes and to do microwave seems so elaborate for me.

Any ideas or tips are welcome

Thanks in advance

We always use foil pans that we get from the discount store and food warmers that I got from ikea which was MUCH cheaper than having a chafing dish. You just put a few tealight candles in them (also from IKEA) and put a pot, pan or tray on top of one or more of the warmers and you're ready to go.

You can also go to a restaurant or party supply and get inexpensive buffet steam table racks that hold up a standard sized foil or steam table pan over sterno.
