Some personal favourites are Chicken Tikka Masala, grilled chicken in a creamy tomato based sauce. Saag Panir, A curried spinach dish with cubes of a very mild cheese in it. Rogan Josh, a somewhat spicy lamb dish with vegetables in a rich sauce, and Aloo Gobi, a cauliflower and potato dish with very complex spices. Make sure you get naan too, it's a flat bread a bit like a pita that they bake by putting it on the walls of a clay oven. VERY tasty.

I wasn't big on Indian food the first few times I ate it, but then I tried butter chicken. I am not sure if it is true, but I think it is called that because the chicken is SO tender, it melts like butter in your mouth. It was phenomenol and was not spicy, but very flavorful. The other dish I tried and loved was Tika Masala (I think that it the corect spelling). This was served with th nan bread and it was fantastic! Again, not spicy, but very flavorful. Have a great meal.

Depending on the restaurant and the kind of food they serve. Indian cuisine is so varied and diverse and different Indian restaurants offer different fare.
Ask the maitre or the staff, they'll be happy to help.

There are fairly some good Italian dishes. the challenge I surely have stating particular ones is that the position you flow and take a verify out it, is purely reliable upon the chef. As you understand, you could get 25 cooks making a similar dish and it is going to all flavor different. What i might want to point is to flow to a Italian eating position and ask thm what they could advise and ensure they allow you to understand what's in it and how that's waiting.

Go easy, start with some samosas or pakoras. Try tandoori chicken, navaratan korma (mixed veg curry) and saffron rice.

If you like these then the next time, try something else. You can be as outgoing and daring as you like!

I am Indian and I love my cuisine but it's not for everyone (and that's ok too!). But I do hope you enjoy the food and the experience.

Most Indian places have a kind of sampler platter that allows you to try a bit of many things to see what you like. That's what I ate the first time I went.

One thing that I really love about the Indian dining experience is that with a group you can order several dishes to share and taste several things.

nothing spicy, start slow with tortillas and some chicken curry and move on to rice but ask the waiter about the level of spicyness and taste to see if you can handle the curry and meat.
