If you don't change your lifestyle soon, it can be possible for you to have a heart attack. A heart attack can be a crushing pain in your chest like an elephant standing on your chest or it can be something as innocent as the feeling of indigestion - depending on which part of the heart has a blockage changes what symptoms you may have. You can also feel very short of breath, be sweating, have nausea, have pain radiating to your left arm or into your neck or jaw. Occasionally, you can have a heart attack and never know it - you just don't feel well and the blood tests confirm the heart attack. There is no one symptom fits all. In 35% of all heart attacks, your first one is your last - it is so massive, you die immediately. You are the only one who can control your risk factors for a heart attack. You need to start eating healthy foods - Kashi go lean crunch cereal with skim milk and a banana for breakfast, fruit for snack, vegetables (either raw or cooked or both) for lunch along with lean protein (baked chicken, no skin, or fish (baked); afternoon snack - yogurt, Kashi cereal bar (any flavor) with a skim milk; supper, repeat of lunch; exercise a minimum of 30 minutes per day - walking is best to start with - start slowly in distance and pace and each day, increase the distance slightly and the pace slightly until you are walking at a brisk pace for 1-2 miles for a minimum of 30 - 45 minutes daily; lastly - lots and lots of water each day. This also keeps you from being hungry and helps your liver break down the fat so your body can use it. Time to start now.
