Its not gonna be over unless you don't be friends with him anymore or you find someone else that likes you and you begin to like.

I'm a WHOLE bunch older than you are, and I can't answer this question for you.
All I can tell you is, sometimes you meet someone who is special and important, and who touches you somewhere in your soul that no one else ever has.
Just because you can't be anything other than friends, doesn't make them less important or make you care less. It hurts, and it's hard to cope with...but really great friends are hard to find.
I know how you feel, and all I can tell you is...it will get better with time and age. It won't hurt less when it happens again, and it will, but it does get better.

Maybe you're just curious since you never got a chance with him. If you just can't stop liking him, then don't bother putting any effort into not liking him because it's not working.
Sometimes, reasoning can control your emotions. By thinking something like why do you like him, or why should you keep liking him might help a bit.

its a mind challenge. Alot of people remain obssesed with the challenge of trying to get the person to like you. I had a crush like that in middle school throughout high school but when I saw him again out in the street his attraction had gone downhill. It wears off when you find a new crush

if u never had a chance with him then y would u like him....if he thinks hes too good for u then hes shallow and u should get over it and realize that he sucks, u deff dont need someone that doesnt need u :)

Its hard because of your determination to be with him. You are too young to make this your lifes career chasing someone who may not make you happy in the end.

i hate to say it hun, but you cant make yourself stop liking him, you can trick your mind into believe you are over him but thats only temorary, and even if you do "PRetend or trick your mind into believeing your over him" a peice of you will always be with him. that is until your finally over time.
i'd say just keep your mind occupied, eventually you'll just forget about him and then realize that you obviously dont need to be with him, that your just as happy with out,
eventually your mind will get tired of chaseing something that it cant have, and then move on to something it can have.
good luck hope i was help, and merry christmas

*sighs* been there..really hard..i felt rejected..was worse when other people found out that i told him i like him...it will heal darling..u'll find someone else worthy of your affection..besides..you're still young..dont worry about him..just be urself around him..also surround urself with friends and family so u dont think about him...go out with friends..talk to other boys..enjoy being a teenager! :)

I know exactley how you feel.
it's the mystery.
the "what would have been if we were together?"
"would he have treated me right"
"is he romantic"
"would he stand by me and support me when I needed it most....when I need it now?"
all of those unanswered questions that will always be unanswered.
that's why I truly believe not risking is the greatest risk of all.
