"If I speak in human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing." 1 Corinthians: 13:1 -8

"For we know partially and we prophesy partially, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things. At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I shall know fully, as I am fully known. So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13: 9-13

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love." --1 John 4:18

The greatest - and most powerful - feeling in the world...

And one that can drive people to do just about ANYTHING (good OR bad) for it - or in it's name ;);)

It is a neural process that involves identification with another being through the perception of shared or similar experiences. This identification causes the perceiver to exhibit protective and gratuitously favorable behavior toward the other being (usually but not exclusively the same species), much as it might otherwise have done for itself. This process seems to have evolved as a species survival mechanism. Scientific monitoring of brain activities in simians showed neuron firing in areas associated with the activities simultaneously observed in other simians. In other words, they were empathizing with the other apes. Humans clearly have similar abilities, which associate empathetic behavior with pleasurable sensations, thereby insuring the continuation of the behavior. Love grows.

A feeling of platonic adoration for another living being, that usually leads to a desire to be around the object of affection, an overall sense of comfort and relaxation near them, and a strong connection, up to the extent that you would be willing to sacrifice your own life on that person's behalf.

What is truth? Law.
What is Law? Love.
What is love? God.
What is God? Law and love.

These are as the cycle of truth itself.
