They got together early and decorated everything in blue and white lights, snow flakes, christmas tree orniments, even candy canes, because those are Channukah Colors, they made snow flakes over my desk with Menorahs on them. What do you honestly think about this? I was really touched!

Wow that was so nice. I went to my local mall and was disappointed with the Hanukkah display. I'm not Jewish but I just thought they could have done a better job. It was a large,as tall as me, Menorah roped off with a very small sign that read Happy Hanukkah from----mall. I just think they could have done a better job. It was so plain compared to all the Christmas decor. I mean they could have added some giant dradles and used the Hanukkah colors. Maybe even display a family celebrating around the Menorah. Maybe they should have hired your co-workers to do the display!

That's sweet of them, they want to make sure you feel included in the festivities, and they thought about how much you bring to their Christmas celebration. It was really considerate of them to make the effort and acknowledge Channukah this year... maybe there is yet hope for the world to enjoy the riches of diversity in a positive manner....Happy Channukah....

Aw, that's sweet! It helps if people realize that what they are really celebrating is their ability to fight all the cold and darkness this time of year. The holy days, with all due respect, serve as excuses to assert a little warmth and cheer in what would otherwise be a very dreary season.

(Blue and white candy canes, cool!)

I'm the only one, also...it would have been nice...I seem to spend every year from Halloween to New Year's Day explaining why my family doesn't DO Christmas. And no, Hanukkah is not the Jewish Christmas. I do appreciate the sentiment, the cards, gifts, candy and bonus. I'm Jewish, not stupid.

im not religious.... but it seems every once in awhile.. people surprise me!
that was very nice. it seems to me like you work with some very nice people!
the fact that they ..took into consideration your beliefs..when so often this time of the year.christianity will try and shove all the other religions down. ex. not allowing other religions to display their holiday decorations on a public office building(town hall) while the nativity is displayed.
very nice people you work with!
i like to hear that!... i really do

I think it speaks volumes of what kind of people you and your co-workers are. You and they are respectful people who take so much joy in your own faiths that it spills over into joy for others. You all clearly love your fellow man. Congratulations!

That's really nice! My husband is half Jewish and VERY proud of it, but celebrates Christmas. Every year I buy plenty of blue lights to put up on half of our house and wrap his presents in blue, white, a silver wrapping paper. It always makes him happy!

Happy Hanukkah!
