I love Christmas in its pure form, the true love of Christ. I was recently frustrated with the commercialism of Christmas and was given a great idea from a friend. Instead of giving into the retailers and buying a lot of stuff my kids do not need, We are starting a new tradition and giving our kids Three gifts each. We will explain to them the significance, being the three gifts the Savior received from the wisemen(Gold,Franensence,Mhyre). This brings Christ to the center of Christmas, not santa.

The fact that there never was a mass at Christmas, the fact that the "gifts" were only given one way, the fact that this is really the Pagan tradition of "Yule", stolen by the "Christians". Christmas & Easter are amongst lots of Festivals that are nowhere mentioned in the Bible. They are all Pagan celebrations,

I think having 15 different types of lights (large bulbs, chasers, twinling, colored, etc) on your house should be banned. It's tacky as hell! Oh, And having inflatable things in your yard bigger than your home should also be outlawed.
Or how about the tradition of chopping down a tree, bringing it inside to decorate, then putting up lights outside. Sounds like the behavior of a drunk person.

Allowing Christmas Eve to fall on a Monday. That makes for about 60 straight hours of work for many of us Priests and Deacons (Sunday Morning through Tuesday night!)

I am tired of putting lights up for Christmas, putting up and decorating a Christmas tree and spending all my hard earned money on Christmas gifts for 20+ people every year.
I could use that money for bills and the stuff I need.
I have no problem spending the day worshipping our loving God and thanking him for sending Jesus to die for our sins on the cross.

I would like to change the newest Christmas tradition...the one where we're only allowed to say "Happy Holidays" "Season's Greetings" and "Winter Break"
