Is there ever a time in relationships where cheating is "allowed" even in severe measures. and if so, can sexual relationships stay sexual? or do emotions eventually get involved

my partner just admitted to cheating on me completely blaming me. Is there ever an okay time to cheat on someone, even under exptreme situations? Can sexual relationships stay just that.. or do you end up having feelings for them?

Cheating happens. It takes a lot of work to stay commited to one person. In a perfect world there would be no cheating. However if there is a reason enough to cheat, then there should be reason enough just to end that relationship before starting a new one with someone else. Sexual relationships do not stay just sexual. Emotions get involved because having sex with another person is a very intimate thing. It bonds two people together even if that was not your intention.

No, it is never ok. You become something that is untrustworthy, cheap and dishonest. If you are with someone and want someone else because you don't have the maturity it takes to commit, then be an adult and fess up you want to break up. Have a heart at least and be kind about it too.

I caution you, anybody I've even known that did the selfish thing to leave for something "better" (which was only a physical attraction) got what they deserved. It didn't take long for regret, guilt and even in some cases remorse set in rather quickly once reality set in. What is that reality? That the grass is not greener, it is just grass and the person who needed to change was the one who left.

I dont think that a sexual relationship can never just stay sexual eventually as u spend more time together you will start having feeling for that person no matter what they are, there is always some kind of emotion. and NOOOO it is never ok to cheat on the one that you love...its always bad no matter what the circumstances.

I don't think so, at least I have never heard of a situation where it sounded even remotely justified. The way I see it, if you are wanting to cheat then you obviously do not want to be in the relationship you are in. So before taking that step, break it off with the person you are with. It will suck and may be emotionally hard on both of you but it is only fair to the other person. Anything less is cowardly and selfish.

NO, it's not ok to cheat on your partner.

As far as "sexual" relationships go I have aa moto:

"Someone always leaves bed with emotions, But, it's Usually not me!"

Its never OK. Make sure your single before you go around sleeping with people.

And yes, emotions normally do get involved. There are rare cases, where people just don't care, but then again, its rare.

relies upon on the place you draw the line: slightly flirting or a drunken kiss would be great with me its comprehensible and forgiveable. if youre in an abusive relationship the guy would desire to easily be dumped. if youve been on and stale for some months a one time fling would be ok
