The Bible has Commandments to help society, not hurt them. We are supposed to enjoy sex, just in a commited, recognized relationship. If we all stayed virgins and didn't cheat (which I didn't, BTW) we would not have to deal with STDs, unwanted pregnancies, stalkers, hurt feelings, all kinds of stuff. I It's just better for you all around, no matter what you belieive in.

why would you put your in the position of letting any one know any thing about your personal life its no ones business. I'm a non believer. church people are so stuck up its ridiculous. they put down every one, they are not forgiving, but expect to be forgiven, I'd be embarrassed to admit I was a member most of you are Hippocrates, they have nothing better to do than to judge others as if they were perfect. whats the point of taking on a religion if you all sin so much just because you people are forgiven for your sins shouldn't mean doing it is OK. would you join a camera club if you were blind, there would be no point, and they wouldn't want your there because you wouldn't belong.. wouldn't it be something if you went into your church, and (like at wal-mart that detector that beeps when you steel something) they have a sin detector, that thing would be going off like crazy. I can't figure out your logic are you all just kidding yourself.come on get with it.

people who assume = *** + u + me
making people who assume idiots. (asses)
Sex must be done with responsibility there are so many orphans
single parents , diseases in society due to irresponsible sex
this doesn't mean you cant enjoy sex after all nature only made it fun, the church insults people who enjoy sex to make sure sex is done with responsibility hopefully not for any other reason
by the way i am not a Christian just an ordinary Buddhist,
so my answer may not be what you seek.

No, it is not, and i think it is the least important. Being good to each other, should come first. Being judgmental is one of the biggest sins most christians, manage to be really good at.
1. they judge homosexuals, as sinners>> NOT
2 they judge atheists, as sinners>>>> NOT.
And the list goes on, but these two get high priority, for most of them.. (by the way, I am not judging them either, I am merely observing, as one who gets accused of being the sinner)
Religious zealots have decided that just about everything is a sin.
But, they take the greatest thing to ever come down the turnpike(sex), and then they have to attach about nine different, sadistic rules, as to why you can't enjoy sex. well, folks, that is BS.. Sex is for anyone to enjoy, as long as you are a consenting adult, and you are free to do so,( not married) and you use a condom, to prevent unwanted pregnancy, and STD's.
As long as zealots scream, sin, there will be people saying, ""Nope, don't think so.""
If you choose to think that way?, fine, but don't push your warped rules on me. I will enjoy sex, where, and when, with whom, I wish to do so. That includes male or female, that is MY choice as well.
Religion had made it their business to try and outlaw anything, and everything, at least anything that 'feels good'.
Oh, and please feel free to report me for 'MY' opinions. I do not care, it is no skin off of my nose.

People tend to take the "living in" part to mean "living together", they no longer realize that just to keep doing the same sin means to be living in sin.

Also many people today do not count many things as sin, like lying, cheating, stealing, taking the Lord's name in vain, etc.
If a person does any of these things often, then they are also living in sin.

It is one of the most openly prevalent

We aren't 'insulted' by that particuler sin than any other sin that are committed.....even by the best of people.
Sex is one that people flaunt...there are things that people do that are wrong that they try to hide from others

BTW...the poster a few before me ' pirate'......is making an assumption..What does that make him according to his own definition?

It's not the only sin--just the most interesting one.

; )

As to your second question, I have NO IDEA. I think it's pretty great, so if God is the one who invented it, then I should be grateful & enjoy it, right? I do think it's better (in general) with someone you care about, though.

The expression has grown to mean sex. It could broadly cover anything that people consider sin.

The "church" has divided sins into groups. That is not the way GOD sees it. GOD says the wages of ANY sin is death not some we pick and choose. The good news is that we have forgiveness for all sins except one. That one is called blasphemy of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Remember, GOD loves you even when you don't love Him!
