I am from the southern US.
I simply melt a little butter in the pan, crack two or three eggs, add minced onion and a little no salt seasoning, and scramble with the spatula as the eggs cook.
Not everyone makes eggs the way I do. I simply use salt and pepper on the eggs if my family requests it.
The add-ins are simply a matter of personal preference.
I love scrambled eggs.
I don't know how people in other nations make scrambled eggs.

First off McDonalds scrambled eggs are disgusting, not even sure if they are eggs. There are different ways to do it. Normally whisk the egg and add a little milk to make it fluffy and cook in a hot pan.

yeah, we yanks think macdonalds is haute cuisine. oh yeah. How could that possibly disgust you?
I've never seen a TV show that cooks the way us normal average people cook, any more than those fishing shows are like what fishing is for me, or golf shows are like how most of us play. Some people do put in milk, and other stuff to add some flavor. Not like scrambled eggs is really great food by itself anyway, but if I am in basic cooking mode, it's just crack em dump em and mix em up good.

i am a yankee i do whisk the eggs, but only put a small amount of milk with them, some pepper and I cook them in butter. Yummy. now to go even further, i cook a chopped onion, a chopped green pepper, loose sausage and then add the whisked eggs. I then add some AMERICAN cheese. that is excellent.,

This looks like it should be categorized as 'Rhetorical question' rather than open. But, yes, you've discovered our secret shame - we know nothing about scrambled eggs. The secret has eluded us ever since the Boston Tea Party. Of course, since there is only one proper way to eat any food, it could be decades before we discover the exact recipe. NASA scientists are working on it this very minute (since they are no longer occupied with faking moon landings). A breakthrough is expected momentarily.

I make scrambled eggs by whisking my eggs then adding milk and cheese. Sometimes I'll put ham or bacon in it. Then you just stir them around in a skillet until the eggs are done. How do you do it?
