I point my finger at him and say "bang" and he falls over ...too funny.

My little Cocker Spaniel can learn a trick in one day ... and NO I am not kidding! It's amazing.
Her two coolest tricks are:
When she is lying down, I say "Poooor Puppy!!!"
And she plops her little head down on her paws with her ears spread out on either side. She looks up with those sad Cocker eyes & really does look like a poor puppy.
Her other bestest trick is:
When she is lying down - I say "Porno Queen!"
And she rolls over onto her back and spreads her legs. This is her most popular trick of course.
Kinda naughty - but people get a kick out of it.
She did both of these behaviors on her own of course - I just came up with creative things to say when she did them & then she started doing them on command. She is very food motivated.

Many out there may not believe this, but our dog Gypsy loves to set up in the drivers seat and her paws are on the steering wheel! She is so bright and a really wonderful pet!

At 8 months my pup can sit, stay, lay down, roll over, army crawl, touch (I command to either touch with my hand at my side or high up at my chest height), go around, walk around me and sit by either left or right side indicated, cheer (push my hand foward and he sits up on hind legs putting his paws up in the air), Cha Cha (he hops up on his hind legs and allows me to grab his paws and kind of dance), watch me, heel, leave it (even if it's food he will ignore until I say it's okay) etc.
I think he's done very well :)

After throwing a tennis ball seemed like 500 times from a lawn chair, I told my Border Collie "No more, I'm tired." He will set a tennis ball about five feet from me and run straight out turn around and lie down waiting ready to catch the ball. I tell him I can't reach the ball and he will return to the ball and bring it closer to me then run back out again turn around and lie down. I tell him I still can't reach it and he will return to the ball again setting it this time between my feet. He runs back out, turns around and knows this time I will throw him the ball!

No dog anymore.
I think she was a bit thick as all she learnt was to shake hands an stand up so she could put her paws on my shoulders, to lick my face.

My late dog had selective hearing and no idea what fetch meant.
