If you like your hairdresser and she does a good job for you and is willing to squeeze you in an appointment at times, by all means recognize her at Christmas. I usually tip the same around Christmas to my stylist, but I take her a Christmas card and include a $10 or $15 gift card inside. Or, I bake cookies and include the gift card along with that. If you have a good hairdresser, she/he should be recognized by you and write a thank you note in the Christmas Card for doing a good job.

If you have a regular hairdresser then you should either tip them or buy them a little present. After all, you meet them many times a year, spend quite a lot of time in their company and chat to them a bit. If you've had them for many years too, you will probably know them quite well.

If you go to a salon and have your hair cut by somebody different that you don't really know, there's no need.

According to me, YES. Whether the person is known or unknown you must do it. Its the festive season, and he/she will be happy.

Moreover xmas is all about love, happiness, care, and good qualities that Lord Jesus wanted mankind to have.

So atleast during the festive time we can do something to make others happy, Right?

Go on and put a smile on each one's face you see - dont see; know - dont know and on.

The idea is to spread happiness and love!!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Cheers!!!

:)

If you are a regular client then it is nice to tip extra for Christmas. Double what you normally give is a good idea, but any extra will be appreciated. Let your stylist know you're leaving a little extra and to have a "Merry Christmas."

If it is a person you regularly go to, yes. If it is a random person that you don't always go to, no!
