I have both FSX & FS2004. I would recommend that you get FSX. I'm going to assume that FSX and FS2004 are similar (I don't remember how 2004 works, I got rid of it a while back). First, start the game and go to the menu bar above. If it's not there, hit alt. Go to options, then look for "flight video". It should be located right next to "instant replay". Click on it and a window will appear allowing you to name the file, and select a frame rate. Click start recording and just fly. When you are finished, hit escape and it will stops recording. Again, a window will pop up allowing you to decide what to do with it, etc. You can then fix it up on movie maker and then post it on youtube. Again, this is FSX. I don't know if 2004 is the same, but try it out. Good luck......I look forward to seeing your videos!

DONT' GO TO FSX UNLESS YOU HAVE BRAND NEW SYSTEM!!!
Anyway, you need to buy a program called FRAPS. You can capture video off of your screen and save as video files. The video option on FS2004 will not work because it is in a different format. Hope I helped!! (I've looked and FRAPS is the best. you will pay, at least you get your money's worth.)

Ok the first answer is NOT how you upload a video you must download and install a screen recording first like Fraps hyper cam ETC. fraps is the best but it cost around $30 if you want i can send you mine for free! you will need to then be able to upload it but only if its under 100MB if not use like windows movie maker to compress it
