His glory is too great? Um, guess what, he has the power to overcome anything he wants.
This life is a test? Pretty big elaborate stupid test if you ask me. And the allowance of child molestation is part of it? That's pretty sick.

Only those who have their eyes closed will ask a question like this. God has revealed Himself many many times.

Bette Midler made a song popular...."From A Distance"

Well my friend, if He is watching you from a distance...it is your fault.

It is more strange you would ask this question at this time of year. Even though we know Christ was not born on Dec 25, it is the time we do remember that the God of the universe came to dwell with us...not as a powerful king..but as a new born baby. This is not the end of the story...it moves through the hills of Galilee to the streets of Jerusalem to a hill called Mt Calvary...and an empty tomb.

God has not only revealed Himself...He does so every day of my life...in a relationship so close I can call Him...DADDY!

As to the rest of your question...apart from the gift of salvation...the greatest gift GOD has given us is the gift of free will...we can chose to accept Him...or we can chose to do even horrible things such as molesting children. Even then, GOD can use that for good as I am proof of that. I was kidnapped as a child but good has come from that in the form of a ministry that has helped thousands overcome the scars of abuse. See the 3rd link below.

Men chose to molest children and it's up to men to chose God by faith not by knowledge.Besides in every scripture around the world when God did appear Men complained his voice was to big and they could not sleep. He was too bright, His glory was too dangerous. Read the complains Moses had to put with in the Bible. Men hate knowledge of God God presence hurts their little egos. Isn't that way they murdered Jesus?

Sounds like you are fed up with mankind refusing to obey the God Yahweh's laws and the lax of judicial punishment such as the death penalty for child molesters and are putting the blame on God instead. The blame falls on mankind for refusing to follow The Laws of Moses which if we have all the while would have prevented questions like yours to be asked.

Its understood in the OT that God did reveal Himself to men and walked with them on occasion...each in His individual turn. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Wrestled with God in the desert to recieve a blessing). Then Moses, the entire Hebrew people as He dwelled with them up until the time of Ezekiel who saw God depart the earth. Then He returned as Immanuel (God with us) in the form of the man, our Salvation Ya'shua Messiah (Jesus Christ) for 33 years and then appeared after the ascension to many right up until John. Daniel predicted that the time of prophecy would come to a close and since then He once again dwells with each man or woman in the form of the Holy Spirit. People are called to seek God first and given every oppertunity to find Him. While we will never see Him with our eyes...He asks for our carefully investigated, intelligent manifested faith that He is there and the proof of it will follow. This is accomplished through the intricate study of His Word though some achieve the most sublime faith by simply "hearing" the gospel. The simpler the people the more profound the faith is that is established. However, it goes both ways...as each question arrises and then is answered...faith becomes more staunch. As each prayer is answered...same thing. As far as the atrocities that occur in this life as you mentioned...wouldn't they be conspicuous by their absence? As well, if God disallowed any harm to befall innosent victems, especially that of children...men in turn would establish that as being somehow a result of their own innate goodness rather than mercy from God. So instead...we are warned of what happens to those who harm children.."it would be better for them that a millstone be hung about their neck and they be cast into the sea..." Every turning point in history has occured consecutively and precisely pertaining to man's inability to have compassion even upon the smallest of children. Pagan child sacrifice brought about the flood. The slaughtering of the Hebrews during the Egyptian dominion caused the Exodus. Even Herod took out small children all under the age of 2 because of the prediction of the birth of Christ. Yet, the Bible plainly states...

Matt 18
10Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

God the Father has never been seen by human eyes...God the Son has been around since the beginning as His whole purpose in creating us was to dwell with us and He's done everything He can to insure this will happen with those that choose Him. It is through Him, by Him and for Him that all things were made and by Him that we live, move and have our being...this life is a test...it is elaborate to give us all each and every available oppertunity to be saved from destruction and to achieve our initial purpose...to belong to Him as His children. He allows what He allows because every inclination of mankind is toward every manner of wickedness...we have to be shown to be utterly wicked as we are so that due justice will be served upon those who choose themselves over God, His laws and the love we should have for each other. The Bible tells you all of this if you ever want to read it. Love in Christ, ~J~

Who says he doesn't? You are assuming God is a human and not well....a God. He doesn't allow these things to happen, we do because its our responsibility to take care of things in this world. All the hurt and pain thats out there was caused by us. If you want to blame "god" then you're just in denial.

Maybe He's in a different dimension. Never blame God for what men do.
