Mormons are not conscientious objectors and there are plenty serving in Iraq. In fact, the Army has Mormon chaplains.

Sure they serve! They join for the same reasons "non-Mormons" join. My neighbors are Mormon, and husband just deployed and he is a cav scout...not exactly an MOS to choose if you are a pacifist, huh? They firmly believe in defending our country, and if you look at Mormon history, they have never backed down from fighting for their beliefs.
