Santa is not Anti-Jesus. Where do you people get your ideas these days. What is wrong with Santa praying over baby Jesus. I know Santa is not in the Bible but come on now aren't you making a big thing out of virtually nothing?

I don't think it's anti-Jesus, but it is obviously messed up: Santa doesn't come from any Christian tradition. Also, there are traditionally Christian countries with children who never believed in Santa and believe in other things like the three kings who gave gold, incense and mirr to Jesus or in a woman that gave presents to him. I'm talking about Spain and Italy, in southern Europe, and most children in these countries don't believe in santa. I was raised as a catholic and wouldn't even know that santa was there if it wasn't because of TV

Santa really isn't anti-Jesus because Santa actually comes from a real saint - Saint Nicholas who was a bishop in the early Christian church. The figure of Santa praying over baby Jesus, though, is just about the sappiest thing I've ever seen. Santa was not present when Jesus was born.

Well actually, Santa, or the person that the tradition of Santa came from was very Jesus like. I think that the fact they combined Yule and Christmas isn't just Christians stealing a holiday, I think it's a wonderful combination of two similar tradidtions.

Since when was Santa anti-Jesus? Saint Nicholas was a Turkish saint that gave gifts to the poor at Christmas time, much like Saint Francis of Assissi.

Its just a plastic toy.
If your going to feel 'kinda messed up, seriously,' do it over something worthwhile, and go help out at the soup kitchen over the holidays dishing out food to the needy.
