like take a principle (s) or a word or something. by religions i mean christianity, islamic, jewish, buddhism, and hinduism. something from each that we can combine together to create peace in the world

If you think about it if you love someone you wouldn't do anything to hurt them etc.

The very core of EVERY religion (worded in different ways though), but the same, common and unique is:
'Do upon others as you would be done by',
'love thy nabour as thyself', etc.
If you look into different religions and analyze them - all the rest originates from that meaning (10 or more commandments and so on). All goodness is taught by different spiritual teachers of different relighoins are based on that.

if you want peace, you have to find a common characteristic from each religion and then abandon everything else.

Faith. It takes a lot for someone to believe in something so passionately. I give the muslims credit that they can go and kill themselves for their religion.

We all believe in the same thing under the surface, and we all believe in respecting others just as if they were us. It's just some people need to be reminded...

Inner peace makes outward peace to the world
Jesus the prince of peace teaches to love others as you love yourself. Buddhism and Hinduism accept Jesus as a good teacher. Other religions to one degree or another accept Jesus, yet only in knowing him is there the power to do it.
example Jewish & Muslims claim Jesus is good or a prophet but wont even celebrate his birthday.
Hi to all, Where is merry Jesus birthday? peace/salam/shalom! hear carols and humor on my blog& is Christmas for Athiests, Jewish, Muslims and the sinners who brag causing wars in heart and mind=(some with names of Ali, Cohen/Jewish, & Mohamed) on being sinfully naughty (heart's growing cold in lust to true love), For Jewish and MUSLIMS BECAUSE of JESUS, THERE is a way to true inner peace salam/Shalom! If he came as a good man or a prophet, Why reject him not celebrating his birthday?
I am born a Jew, part Italian and English too, and for believing Jesus, I was kicked out of my synagogue, so I am more Mulim now than Jewish and Jesus comforts me and is my best friend so its all good.
It is a nice thing to do helping others understand the real Jesus, as Jesus says to go to all the world and share the gospel, Do you believe the real Jesus?

I do suggest you believe the prophets and him, & let Jesus into your heart!

the promise of His forgiveness for sins Isaiah 53 "All we like sheep have gone astray but the Lord will make to light upon him the iniquities of us all.
Things are claimed by Islam that the angel told this leader = like Jesus didnt die as predicted and done, but rose straight to heaven and all the 500+ witnesses lied (book of Acts), also to marry a little girl named Aisha as told in the Hadith he met her when she was swinging on a swing and married and slept with her years before the age of puberty at 9 years old.YUK He even as recorded told his other wives she was the best! sicko What if a 40 year old man came with an army to take your 9 year old daughter?
Jesus can help you, the Jesus of the bible. Not the remade jesus Esa figure called a prophet, yet even his birthday is rejected by the leaders that blow up each others Mosques and kill the others leaders=Shiite &Sunny muslims, since Jan 2006 the Golden Mosque bombing. They call Jesus words lies as well as Moses &Isaiah and the prophecies false.

The real Jesus can help you, the Jesus of the bible, not the remade jesus Esa figure that call Jesus, Moses & Isaiah's words wrong.
"Jesus saith, My words shall not pass away. I and my father are one. If you have seen me you have seen the father. If you reject my words they will judge you in the last day." John chapter 12 If you want Jesus true words look them up in His bible. "Jesus saith, I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to heaven but by me." John 14:6
PROOF Bible's true=Jewish people who reject Jesus the Messiah as predicted in this passage would have removed these verses first, but Jesus wont let His word be changed=See John chapters 1-10 it will all be clear.
the terrorists are promised heaven to kill the innocent children & all that dont agree with their Islamic religion. Yet get hell weeping forever is the reward for rejecting Jesus words "love all" & salvation=Matthew 24:51
