Christmas for me, has always been about family. Now that is not to say that we leave the Lord out of Christmas, for we do not. We all know the reason for the season, but this is the time of the year when all the family comes to our house. Everyone brings their specialty, something they enjoy cooking and that they cook well. The meal is always more than anyone can eat and everything tastes great. After the meal the guys go to the den for football and the ladies generally sit around the table and talk about whatever.

As a Christian, the birth of Christ is a reality I live with every day. Before we sit down to eat, we acknowledge His Gift and His sacrifice. I am very comfortable in my relationship with Christ, and granted Christmas has become very commercial. Since I celebrate the Lord each day, in my life, I really do not have a problems with all the festivities on Christmas day.
