there is no reconciliation...man....
jews reject jesus as christ and Lord
muslims reject jesus as Lord
Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Joh 13:13 "You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am."
so you see, there is no reconciliation...never....never....never...

I have a more simpler question for you.
In the Bible, John1, the first verse says, "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God." It goes on to say that this Word "created" everything in existence except God the Father. Further more it says that the Word(God THE SON) became "Flesh" and dwelt among us. How can you possible think that ANY prophet is going to be greater than God's own Son?

Nope remember Pauls message on the sin of Partiality. It was saying that if any ones follows in all Gods word yet stumbles in one he is not a child of God. and Paul said "If you believe in your heart and profess with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of God to Him is granted Salvation" Its not enough to just believe in God but to Believe in Him as the Trinity and Jesus as the Son of God and the Holy Spirit as the Helper of the afflicted. Reformed Christianity is the only true expression of christianity.
And the dude below Morning Star is exactly right. Besides as Romans said "That through Jesus Christ as the Son of God we have been given the ministry of Reconciliation that He died on the cross for our sins." Who ever without being the Son of God could reconcile us back to the Father by giving up His life for those whom the Father gave Him as sons adopted through Him.. No one could no man.

Yes...and the hope for reconciliation, is that that the people of the world quit beleiving in ridiculous mythologies, be mature enough to face that nobody's quite sure where we came from, or where we're going, embrace that uncertainty as a mystery of life, do away with their "holy books" and pathetically childlike idol worshipping, and embrace concepts like logic, reason, common sense, math, and the oneness of all mankind.
This won't get selected at the best answer; it makes far too much sense. Most people in 2007 aren't ready for this level of common sense yet.
..but I guarantee you this would be the best answer 500 years from now.

Yes I think there is a chance for reconciliation. But according to Islam,Jesus will come again to this earth 40 periods before this world will be collapsed or kiamat.Jesus would tell to his followers that the true religion which is blessed by God is only Islam and he will kill pigs and break the crusades.(see the hadits of Muhammad pbuh)

I sure hope not. If Christians, Jews, and Muslims reconciled their differences, they'd surely turn their wretched violence upon other religions. The god of Abraham is a twisted fellow, but he is right to keep his followers locked in a catatonic trance of inward violence.

In my understanding Allah is not the same god as Yahweh whom Xians and Jews believe. Yahweh is associated with the Sun. Allah is associated with the moon. So I think he could be Baal of the Old Testament.

You are so right.
But yes, I believe in that hope for reconciliaiton. It will happen one day. All religions will unite under same God with respect for each other. All faiths are real, no matter what you call your God or teacher.

We sure all hope so...the purpose of religion was made to unite us under one god, but unfortunately "the man" is hypocrite by nature, he goes by "it's either my way or no way" rule......and that's the problem, if we only can learn how to respect each others beliefs it would be Great.
